I am looking for a roommate who would like to live with me in a very spacious 3-room apartment in Kreuzberg. The room is located a little apart in the apartment and, like the entire apartment, is a dream to live in.
I am a freelance composer, sound artist who works from home and also makes music. Lately I've been working a lot on headphones and would be considerate of my roommate situation, but it's important to know that my work is focused in the shared apartment. Unless I'm on the road for a production outside the flat.
Ideally, you should write a bit about yourself. Since I compose more in the evenings, someone who works outside the home in the evenings might be better suited. A general interest in art and a life outside the average structures would also be an advantage. I would be happy if there was a natural balance between time together and retreat, I would find a functional flat share less appealing. I'm 39, I know it's Wg-gesucht, but an age difference of more than 15 years would be difficult for me.
We can arrange viewings from the 24th. A personal meeting of at least 30 minutes is a must.
The apartment is located in a somewhat quieter part of Kreuzberg (the room faces the street). The bus station M29 is one minute walk away and from there you can quickly reach the U8 and U1. The Reichenberger Kiez is beautiful and known throughout the city, it is a very nice mixture of neighborhood and big city.
As already written, an interest in art would be great and artists are explicitly welcome! However, it would be nice if you had a studio outside the apartment. Someone who works outside in the evenings would also be suitable, as that's when I'm usually at my most productive.
Apart from that, it would be nice if we were on the same level and had a natural understanding of space and flat-sharing life.
