The room is very spacious and has a window facing the inner courtyard. Unfortunately, it is not equipped with furniture. So you would have to bring your own bed and other things. Beautiful wooden floorboards are already in there ;)
Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und liegt mit dem Fenster zum Innenhof. Es ist leider nicht mit Möbeln ausgestattet. Bett und anderes müsstest du also mitbringen. Schöne Holzdielen sind schon drin ;)
The flat is located on Wilmersdorfer Straße, between Kantstraße (known for fantastic cuisine and cinemas) and Kurfürsten Damm (known for theatre and fashion). There are many interesting bars and cosy cafés nearby. In terms of transport, the flat is very well located, right in the centre between S-Charlottenburg and U-Adenauerplatz. Wilmersdorfer Straße is already lively, but as the flat is behind the inner courtyard, you don't notice any of it.
Die Wohnung liegt in der Wilmersdorfer Straße, zwischen der Kantstraße (bekannt für fantastische Kulinarik und Kinos) und der Kurfürsten Damm (bekannt für Theater und Mode). In der Nähe sind viele interessante Bars uns lauschige Cafés. Verkehrstechnisch ist die Wohnung sehr gut angeboten, direkt in der Mitte zwischen S-Charlottenburg und U-Adenauerplatz. Die Wilmersdorfer Straße ist schon belebt, da die Wohnung hinter dem Innenhof liegt, bekommt man davon allerdings nichts mit.
I will also move into the flat in July and live there for two months. (It's not quite clear what will happen to the flat afterwards.) I'll be writing my MA thesis (sociology) during this time, so I'll have a lot of time to let myself drift, but also have something to do all the time. I would like to live in a sociable but rather quiet flat share. So you are welcome to invite friends over from time to time, but please no loud parties every weekend.
Ich werde auch im Juli in die Wohnung neu einziehen und für die zwei Monate dort wohnen. (Was danach mit der Wohnung geschieht, ist noch nicht ganz klar.) Ich werde in dieser Zeit meine MA-Arbeit (Soziologie) schreiben und habe deswegen relativ viel Zeit mich mal treiben zu lassen, aber auch ständig irgendwas zu tun. Ich würde mir ein geselliges aber eher ruhiges WG Leben wünschen. Du kannst also gerne mal Freunde einladen, aber bitte keine lauten Partys jedes Wochenende.
