The apartment is located right on the B1, which gives you excellent access by car both towards the city center and out of town. There’s always plenty of parking available right in front of the building, so if you have a car, that’s definitely not an issue.

Public transport connections are also really convenient. The tram and bus stop are right outside the door (about a 2-minute walk). The nearest S-Bahn station is Friedrichsfelde Ost, about 9 minutes away, and the closest U-Bahn station is Friedrichsfelde, around a 10-minute walk.

It takes about 15 minutes to get to Ostkreuz and around 30 minutes to Alexanderplatz. I often hang out at Simon-Dach-Kiez near Boxhagener Platz, which you can reach easily in about 20 minutes.
The HWR and HTW are also not far from here.

You’ll find pretty much every grocery store within walking distance—Rewe, Netto, Edeka, Rossmann, and DM. The only thing missing here is probably a late-night convenience store, but S Lichtenberg has an Edeka and other shops that are even open on Sundays. I’ve made good use of that more than once!

The closest shopping center is the East Side Mall at S Warschauer Straße, with stores like H&M, Urban Outfitters, and more. Around Boxhagener Platz, you’ll find cute little shops selling plants, jewelry, and home decor.
The nearest gym is Fit X at U Tierpark, where you’ll also find a few more stores.
If you enjoy going for walks, Wuhlheide isn’t too far away either

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an der B1 wodurch du mit dem Auto eine super Anbindung sowohl Richtung Zentrum als auch Stadtauswärts hast. Es gibt zudem immer reichlich Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür also falls du ein Auto hast ist das definitiv kein Problem.
Aber auch mit den Öffentlichen kommt ist man hier ziemlich gut angebunden.
Die Straßenbahn und der Bus fahren direkt vor der Tür (ca 2 Minuten). Die dichteste S-Bahn Station ist die S Friedrichsfelde Ost in ca 9 Minuten erreichbar und die dichteste U Bahn ist mit ca 10 Minuten Fußweg die U Friedrichsfelde.
Bis zum Ostkreuz braucht man ca 15 Minuten, bis zum Alex ca eine halbe Stunde. Ich bin oft beim Simon Dach Kiez am Boxe und auch da kommt man entspannt in 20 Minuten hin.
Nicht weit entfernt sind außerdem die HWR und die HTW.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind so ziemlich alle gängigen von A-Z fußläufig erreichbar. Rewe, Netto, Edeka, Rossmann oder DM. Das einzige was nicht hier ist ist ein Spät glaub ich, dafür ist aber der S Lichtenberg mit seinem Edeka und Co auch am Sonntag offen. Das habe ich schon das ein oder andere mal gut nutzen können :D
Die dichteste Shopping Möglichkeit ist die East Side Mall an der Warschauer Straße mit H&M, Urban Outfitters und CO. Am Boxi sind süße kleine Läden von Pflanzen über Schmuck und Home Decor.
Das dichteste Fitnessstudio ist das Fit X am U Tierpark wo auch nochmal ein paar Läden sind.
Wer gerne Spazieren mag hat es bis zur Wuhlheide auch nicht all zu weit.

It would be great if you’re also interested in an active shared living experience rather than just a place to sleep. Up until now, we’ve often cooked together, enjoyed a glass—or a bottle—of wine, and sometimes hung out outside the apartment as well.
Of course, I also think it’s important that everyone has time for themselves, and so far, that balance has just naturally worked out pretty well! 😄

A few words about me: I’m Wanda and (hopefully) your future roommate. I’m currently still a student and doing my mandatory internship. But only until the end of February, so I’m hoping to fully enjoy the semester break before the new term starts.
I’m originally from Rostock and moved to Berlin in 2019. In my free time, I love going to concerts whenever I find the time and hanging out with friends. Anything from vacations and flat parties to casually having a beer in the park is part of the mix. Right now, I’ve caught the puzzle bug again and often spend my evenings in my room working on one.

I’d love to find someone for the flat who’s up for trying out new restaurants or bars or just enjoys cooking together in a relaxed setting.

Es wäre schön wenn du auch Interesse an einem aktiven WG Leben hast und nicht nach einer Zweck WG suchst. Bisher haben wir immer mal zusammen gekocht, ein Glas - oder eine Flasche - Wein zusammen getrunken oder auch mal außerhalb der WG etwas unternommen.
Natürlich finde ich es auch wichtig, dass jeder auch Zeit für sich nehmen kann. Bisher hat das immer automatisch irgendwie ganz gut funktioniert :D

Noch ein paar Worte zu mir: Ich bin Wanda und (hoffentlich) bald deine Mitbewohnerin. Im Moment bin ich noch Studentin und absolviere grade mein Pflichtpraktikum. Aber nur noch bis Ende Februar also kann ich dann hoffentlich nochmal die Semesterferien in vollen Zügen genießen bevor das neue Semester beginnt. Ursprünglich komme ich aus Rostock und bin 2019 dann nach Berlin gezogen. Freizeitmäßig bin ich super gerne auf Konzerten, solange ich die Zeit finde, und bin auch sonst gerne mit Freunden unterwegs. Von Urlaub über WG Parties bis zu entspannt ein Bierchen trinken im Park ist alles immer mal dabei. Zur Zeit hat mich das Puzzlefieber wieder gepackt und ich sitze abends oft bei mir im Zimmer um das Puzzle fertig zu stellen.

Ich würde mich freuen jemanden in die WG zu holen mit dem man neue Restaurants oder Bars austesten kann oder auch einfach nur mal ganz entspannt zusammen kochen kann.
Bisher hat die Balance ganz gut geklappt das jeder auch Zeit für sich nehmen kann ohne von den anderen gestört zu werden :D

The apartment is rented through Howoge, and so far, there hasn’t really been anything big to complain about.

There’s also a basement storage unit that comes with the apartment, so if you need to store something that doesn’t fit in your room, that’s no problem.
There’s likely the option to take over some of the furniture my roommates will be leaving behind if you’re interested. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own furniture.

We’ve always had a weekly cleaning schedule that’s worked pretty well. Everyone had a task, and it rotated weekly—cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping the floors, taking out the trash.
While I do care about cleanliness, I’m not super strict about having everything spotless all the time with sparkling floors. Especially after cooking something more elaborate, it’s totally fine if the kitchen isn’t cleaned up immediately—we can just get to it later.

At the moment, we each pay around €33 in utilities. This might change a bit since I’ll be setting up new contracts soon. I’ll aim to keep it as affordable as possible, but the exact amount isn’t set yet. I expect it will be around €30 again.
We're pretty lucky since we have the heating pipes inside the rooms, so since i've live here i haven't had to turn up the heating ever and we get a good amount of payback each year because of that.

Vermietet wird die Wohnung durch die Howoge und bisher gabs da auch noch nicht wirklich was großes zu meckern.
Es gehört auch ein Kellerabteil zur Wohnung, also falls du etwas erstmal unterstellen willst, was nicht in dein Zimmer soll wäre das auch kein Problem.

Bisher haben wir immer einen wöchentlichen Putzplan gehabt der ganz gut funktioniert hat. Jeder hatte da einen Dienst und das rotiert dann von Woche zu Woche - Bäder Putze; Böden saugen und wischen; Müll rausbringen.
Mir selbst ist zwar Sauberkeit und Ordnung wichtig, aber ich brauche auch nicht das alles dauerhaft perfekt geputzt ist und sich die Böden Spiegeln. Grade wenn man mal aufwendiger kocht, bleibt doch auch mal etwas dreckig in der Küche stehen und man macht es einfach später sauber.

Im Moment bezahlen wir ca 33€ jeweils an Nebenkosten. Es kann aber sein, dass die Nebenkosten sich noch etwas ändern, da ich dann neue Verträge dafür abschließe. Natürlich so günstig wie möglich, aber da steht das eben noch nicht zu 100% fest wie hoch der Betrag da dann ist, aber ich denke es wird wieder etwas um die 30€ sein. Wir haben auch recht glück, da wir dank der innenliegenden Heizungsrohre bisher eigentlich nie heizen mussten. Daher bekommen wir auch ziemlich gute Rückerstattungen jedes jahr :)

Wenn das nach etwas klingt, was deiner Vorstellung entspricht, dann melde dich gerne.
Ich würde mich freuen wenn du ein bisschen was zu dir schreibst und nicht nur ein 'Hallo, Zimmer noch frei?' kommt. Sowas werde ich leider nicht berücksichtigen können.
Schön wäre es auch, wenn du in Berlin bist oder im Februar mal hier bist damit wir uns persönlich kennen lernen können und ich dir die Wohnung zeigen kann.

Eventuell fällt auch eine kleine Ablöse and für gemeinsame WG Möbel und sowas. Dazu aber dann gerne mehr persönlich.
Anmeldung ist auch möglich, wir sind bisher immer alle Hauptmieter gewesen und so würde ich es auch gerne weiter handhaben.
