We will soon have a fully furnished room available in our flat and are looking for a flatmate!
Ideally you've already lived in Berlin for a while and also lived with other people before. You don't smoke or take drugs (at least not every week), and are clean (important. important! did we mention this is important? :).
Anmeldung is not possible because it's really complicated with our evil Hausverwaltung. If you need or will need one, please close this tab now.

18qm on the back so it's quiet! It is nicelly furnished with everything you will need like a mattress, a wardrobe with mirrors, and a desk etc.
🏡 The flat

has high ceilings (4m!), wooden floors, a big living room (around 30qm), is on an elevated ground floor (2,5 meters from the street) and it is well furnished.
We have a washing machine, a dishwasher, and generally most electronic devices one could need.
🫧 Cleaningness

We like it clean and this is important to us. Nothing too crazy, the basics.
For example:
• You accidentaly drop your coffee on the floor? You clean it before continuing your day.
• You took a shower? You clean your hair afterwards from the bathtab.
• You cook? You remember to turn off the oven.
• leave the house? Remember to close the door and lock
etc
If these things do not come natural to you, please close this tab.
It is simply not going to work.
We did have some lovely people here before that have another standard when it comes to that and it's a heartbreak on both sides when we have to part ways for this reason.

We like to occasionally, mostly spontaneously chill, share dinners or host board game nights or even have party from time to time! But we are not hanging out every day.

We live on the lovely neighborhood in Kreuzberg called Wrangelkiez, which is close to Schlesisches Tor, with lots of bars and green spaces around (but not too close!). The neighbors are also pretty cool!

Buss stop for busses 165 and 265 is in front of the house
Schlesisches Tor (U1) is 9 minutes by walk
There is also Aldi and Lidl super markets very close
Really nice and vibrand neighbourhood with Mariannenplatz and Gorlitzer park just around the corner!
Späti and bars are also there, and Markthalle 9 is 5 minutes by walk!
We are mostly busy with our own lives but we can occasionally enjoy spending time together :)
Living with strangers can go either way, either very good, or not that much!
We think being respectful flatmates is not so hard even if we are not best pals. Hopefully we can also be friends, but we are flatmates first.
There are a lot of people looking for a flat and they will say everything, which only causes stress on all sides if it is not a reality in the longterm.
We believe with honesty and open communication it's possible to be good flatmates.
So please be honest, as we are too.
Looking for a new flatmate usually takes a couple of weeks (go through 1000 messages, select, call, invite, contract, move in process).
For this reason there is a management fee that you would be required to provide in the case that there's regular friction and you will be asked to leave. :(
Same goes if you decided to leave after a couple of months for no good reason (spontaneous travels?).
Looking for a flatmate is a lot of work so we ask for people that can trust themselves having the maturity to come to live with others without being annoying to their flatmates or destroying the place 🙃
There have been some horror stories over the years as you may imagine by now, happy to share stories over the call ! 😂
Anmeldung is not possible especially from the beginning until we see that we are fit in cohabitation and we want to be longterm roommates, which becomes clear in 6 months to 1 year.
So, for someone who absolutely needs an Anmeldung to start their life in Germany, this house is definitely not a good solution.
