The apartment is 57 m^2 with 2 rooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 storage room, and a balcony. It's located on the 9th floor with an elevator. The TV tower is visible from the balcony. All necessary cleaning tools, cooking utensils, and household appliances are available. Clean bedsheets, pillows, and towels are also available. The only thing you will need to bring with you is your suitcase :)
The apartment is located in Mitte, right in the heart of the city, 5 minutes from Alexanderplatz. Within a stone's throw of the lively districts of Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg, and Friedrichshain. It's also right next to three grocery stores (Netto, Aldi, and Edeka) and Alexa shopping mall. You'll find everything you need within reach (e.g. barbershop, print shop)
I'm Omar, the Hauptmieter of the apartment, and have been living in Berlin for more than two years now. I did my masters in finance and management at ESMT Berlin, and am currently working at a big E-commerce firm. I'm looking for someone to share the apartment with until Nov 2021 with a possibility of extension. Students and people coming to Berlin to do internships are preferred but not a must.
I'm just looking for someone who is clean, sociable and good with people in general. Bonus cookie points if you workout (or love sports in general), and/or into business/entrepreneurship/investing. The most important thing for me is that we get along and don't have a transactional relationship where we just say "good morning" and "good bye" XD
I am working from home until June 2021, so we'll be spending quite some time together, hence the importance of the "getting along" part :D
You're more than welcome to have a viewing of the apartment in the evening on weekdays and weekends. I am very easy going and can be flexible with many things (e.g. the date of moving in).
Note 1: I recently bought a rug for the room that you will be living in and a microwave for the kitchen (shareable of course)
Note 2: I currently have the TV in my room but you can take it as I don't use it
