*I am German but I hope english works for everyone!*
Hi all! My current flatmate is moving back to Hamburg so I have one room available in Moabit/Alt-Moabit (Jagowstrasse) from December 1st.
It’s a three room apartment, two big rooms, one of them potentially yours (around 20sqm) :) the third room is relatively small and serves mostly as storage and laundry room and has a sleeping couch for guests. My room has a balcony, too.
The flat is on the third floor in the back house and is therefore very quiet (yet bright!).
Our contract is a 5-year contract that is supposed to end in September 2025 BUT I spoke to Mieterverein and they said this kind of contract is not legal (plus our neighbor has the same and also lived there for more than 5 years), so I will do my best to get an unlimited contract asap.
A bit about myself: I am 28 and currently work in a creative agency. I moved back here a year ago, after studying in Copenhagen for 2,5 years. Before that I already lived here during my Bachelors (Gesellschafts- and Wirtschaftskommunikation at UdK). I enjoy sports, sauna and meeting friends and my boyfriend :)
I value a quiet, cozy and clean home and appreciate if you do too. Since I recently started a full-time job, I tend to need a lot of 'me-time' when I am at home so a 'Zweck-WG' would not be a bad thing for me. However, I would like someone that I get along with and can openly communicate to :)
The area is very cozy, close to the Spree, which is beautiful and close to Tiergarten, too. Also, the famous bakery Domberger is around the corner :p
Your room currently has a big bed (180cm) and a wardrobe, which my current flatmate is going to leave - if you like you can take it over (for free), otherwise we can arrange that we get rid of the stuff so you can bring your own furniture. The rest of the flat is fully furnished :) I will attach some pics of the empty room as well as how it currently looks.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
