I'm moving houses and looking for someone to enjoy Neukölln for the final weeks of my current contract.
The room is 20sqm, has large windows, and a south-facing balcony, so it is sunny throughout the day. I will be moving out with most of my furniture, but the room will have basic furnishings, so there is nothing you need to bring into the apartment yourself.
The room is located in a cleanly renovated Altbau apartment with an elevator. You will have beautiful views over Berlin, as the apartment is located on the top floor of the building at top of the Hermannstraße hill.
The apartment has a vacuum cleaner and washing machine, and comes with cups, plates, cutlery, etc. There is one shared bathroom with a shower/bath and a toilet, and a smaller toilet.
Smoking is allowed only on the balcony. No pets allowed :/
Furniture: A bed with a mattress, two cabinets, a TV, lounge chair, and a small desk with a chair. (Bed is slightly different than the one in the photo, but I don't have other photos of the flat without my furniture).
The apartment is really well located, on the U8 at Boddinstraße (1-2 min walk), and U7 at Hermannplatz (7 min walk), allowing you travel around the city easily.
Right across the street is Hasenheide park, through which you can enter Tempelhofer Feld, so you have an abundance of green space around.
The area is really vibrant, with many cheap restaurants, bars, and shops around.
We are currently in the flat with 3 young people (19-24), and we are all either studying or just starting work, but we will be moving out together.
For the temporary tenants we are looking for neat, young people that need a temporary room, either for a short visit to Berlin, as an in-between, or anything else.
A sweet old lady lives across the hallway from us, so we take care to respect the Ruhezeit from 10pm onwards.
