EN: It's a normal room in a shared flat with a bed, table, chair, shelves and a drawer. I like that, thanks to the thick walls, the room was quite cool in summer and in winter the humidity rarely exceeded 60 percent, which is very good for Berlin.
The rest of the apartment is well equipped. There are two bathrooms with showers, an oven, a washing machine, a dishwasher and plenty of kitchen appliances for everyone to use. Thanks to the large number of dryers, we have no problems with queuing for laundry

DE: Das ist ein ganz normales WG-Zimmer mit einem Bett, Tisch, Stuhl, Regalen und einer Schublade. Besonders gut finde ich, dass dank der dicken Wände das Zimmer im Sommer recht kühl war und im Winter die Luftfeuchtigkeit nur selten über 60 Prozent lag, was für Berlin sehr gut ist.
Der Rest der Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt zwei Bäder mit Duschen, einen Backofen, eine Waschmaschine, einen Geschirrspüler und jede Menge Küchengeräte, die jeder nutzen kann. Dank der großen Anzahl von Trocknern haben wir keine Probleme mit der Warteschlange für die Wäsche
EN: I really like this neighborhood. It is quiet, but very quickly you can find yourself in a place with a vibrant nightlife. Although the house is on a big street, the noise of cars did not bother me. There is a store next to the house and the S-bahn Plänterwald is an 8-10 minute walk away, which takes you to Mitte, Prenzlauerberg or Friedrichshain in 15-20 minutes. Neuköln with its events can be reached in 15 minutes by bus. At 500 meters from the house begins Treptow Park with access to the Spree embankment, which is very nice to walk along, especially in spring. There is also a direct S-bahn connection to the airport and the central train station.
DE: Ich mag diesen Kiez sehr. Es ist ruhig, aber sehr schnell kann man sich in einem Ort mit einem aktiven Nachtleben befinden. Obwohl das Haus an einer großen Straße liegt, hat mich der Lärm der Autos nicht gestört. Es gibt ein Laden neben dem Haus und die S-Bahn Plänterwald ist 8-10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, mit der man in 15-20 Minuten in Mitte, Prenzlauerberg oder Friedrichshain ist. Neuköln mit seiner Veranstaltungen ist mit dem Bus in 15 Minuten zu erreichen. In 500 Metern Entfernung beginnt der Treptower Park mit Zugang zum Spreeufer, an dem man besonders im Frühjahr sehr schön spazieren gehen kann. Außerdem gibt es eine direkte S-Bahn-Verbindung zum Flughafen und zum Hauptbahnhof.
EN: We are a divers international WG with people from Argentina, Croatia, Ireland, India, India, Afghanistan and Japan. Some are studying in Berlin, but most are working. We all have different lifestyles and schedueles, so we rarely get to have quality time together, but we enjoy spending time in the kitchen and just maintaining a friendly atmosphere. We also have a schedule of common chores around the house, every week two people clean the apartment together
DE: Wir sind eine bunte internationale WG mit Menschen aus Argentinien, Kroatien, Irland, Indien, Afghanistan und Japan. Einige studieren in Berlin, aber die meisten sind berufstätig. Wir haben alle unterschiedliche Lebensstile, so dass wir nur selten Zeit miteinander verbringen, aber wir genießen es, gemeinsam in der Küche zu stehen und einfach freundlich zu sein. Wir haben auch einen Zeitplan für gemeinsame Aufgaben im Haus, jede Woche putzen zwei Leute zusammen die Wohnung.

Um eine Frage zu beantworten, die vielleicht aufgekommen ist: Ich ziehe aus und in eine WG, weil ich einen Platz in einem Wohnheim näher an der Universität und zu einem günstigeren Preis bekommen habe und nun hoffe, dass ich das Zimmer an jemanden weitergeben kann, der/die es jetzt braucht.
