The room is tiny, it’s approximately 9 square meters: 4.6m long by roughly 2m wide and 3.5m high ceiling, there is one narrow tall window facing into the inner Hoff. With the window you get some of light but there is no real direct sunlight into the apparent as it is North-North-East facing.
There is a loft bed, with a desk and workspace under the bed, there are lots shelves, and a bureau.
The tiny room is very functional but small.

Großgörschenstraße 1, D-Berlin 10827 in Northern Schöneberg, 1 minute away from Kleistpark U7, 6 minutes away from Yorkstraße S1, and 10 Min to Bülowstraße U2. Shops around: Lidl is less than a minute away, kaiser wilhelm platz is about 10 minutes away which has lots of shops like Denns, Edeka, Rewe, TK Max, DM, Rossmann, and great little streets like Akazienstraße and Crellestraße.
The apartment itself has three rooms, a very long hallway that is great for hanging laundry in/storing bikes, and in one corner of the hallway there is a rowing machine, elliptical stair stepper and a foldaway bench and weights.
The bathroom is with full bathtub with rain shower and wand, and a washing machine.
The kitchen has a pantry. The Kitchen is bright yellow with a window facing into the hoff. There is a small table for breakfasts and dinners. Also in the kitchen: Large fridge with freezer, stove, dishwasher, washing machine, smart TV, blender, juicer, toaster, espresso machine with a coffee bean grinder, a steamer, breadbox, the pantry area and full le creuset cups and plates, glassware, zwilling utensils and knieves. We are not short on cooking or backing supplies :-)
My name is Richard, the apartment is in my name and you would be subletting through me. I have been in this apartment for almost 14 years now and love it. 14 years ago, a snowstorm caused my connecting flight to be canceled, stranding me here in Germany. After spending the night on the Munich airport floor, the next morning I was offered a job in Berlin while I was in line getting a new ticket. A few months later, work visa in hand, I came to Berlin for the first time. I studied philosophy/religion/ethics and have a B.S. in Biology. I work in sales selling B2B software solutions.
I am originally from Maine in the States. That’s why I miss the mountains and sea. I have three sisters and six nieces who are all back in the states.
I am looking for a female roommate who is finishing uni studies or ideally working. Preferably some working in an office or hybrid but not full time remote.
Someone who is relatively quite around the apartment but also social and maybe to cook with in once in a while in the large kitchen.
I wake early. No party people.
If you are interested in the apartment please email me so I can schedule a time to show you the place.
