We are offering a room in our beloved maisonette for the months of December and January, with the possibility of extending the duration.
We will be traveling for most of this period, so you will basically have the whole house for yourself. (Please mind that we are looking for just one person to rent the flat, not more.)
The maisonette is located in a bright and green inner courtyard to which all the windows of the apartment face. You will sleep on a Japanese style futon bed.
The building is an “Altbau” with high ceilings and great charm. Those who live in this space are dedicated to art and philosophy and that is the atmosphere that permeates the interior. We hope that you will be able to appreciate and respect its uniqueness but above all we hope that you will feel at home.
The rent is 700 for each month. All costs are included.
The house is a 5-minute walk from Weissensee Lake, which we strongly recommend you to explore. You will find many supermarkets and restaurants in the area, all within easy reach.
As for transportation, you can reach Alexanderplatz in 25 minutes by public transport. The same streetcar takes you in 15 minutes from our place to Greifswalder Strasse, where you can take a Ring Bahn that gets you quickly to other parts of the city. It's an above-ground train, so it's a great option for seeing the city while you're on the ride.
We will be happy to recommend our favorite places and give you tips about the city according to your interests.
You will share the common spaces with me and my flatmate. We both work from home so you will find us there most of the time. However, we are quiet and respectful people.
Since we have unconventional schedules and an alternative lifestyle, we believe that young people and people from artistic backgrounds are the type of people that could feel most comfortable in this space.
