Room to Rent in Wilmersdorf - Charlottenburg (safe and nice district)

1) Neighborhood: Your room is located in one of the most beautiful, greenest and safest disctricts of Berlin. People living here are kind and helpful if you need of assistance. Wilmersdorf still has a plethora of old buildings that were built before and survived WWII

Proximity:
2.1 ) 2min by walk to *S-Bahn / *U-Bahn Heidelberger Platz (U-Bahn station is so beautfiul!!!), making it easy to commute to work or explore the city. Wilmersdorf is a great place to be, as you can easily get to any places in Berlin. Districts such as Charlottenburg, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg or Neukölln are just 5 up to 15min far from here by train. Friedrichshain or Prenzlauer Berg are less than 27min far from your place by train. Sometimes, you are even faster by bike (wearing a helmet is highly recommended - you never know ;-) ) *public train **underground train

2.2) 10min by bike to go to the German university Technische Unversität Berlin.

2.3) You have everything in your area: multiple supermarkets, namely Edeka, Rewe, Aldi, Bio Company etc. The one from Edeka, which is quite huge, has very nice opening hours between 8am and 11.59PM which is a real gemstone here in Berlin.

2.4) One of the finest bakeries are residing here and ready to induldge you with delicious German buns (Bröttchen and Süßwaren). The world famous shopping mall KaDeWe is 7min far by U-Bahn and they also have really fancy but delicious bakery. Definitely, a must for you to have a try.

2.5) Around 3min by walk, there is a Hospital called Sankt Gertruden Krankenhaus. So in case, something should happen to you, highly skilled medical experts/doctors are attainable 24/7.

2.6) Just 2min by walk from here you find a nice swimming pool facility if you are passionate about swimming or need to cool off after a stressful day.

2.7) Wilmersdorf is one of the districts which has a high density of green spaces. Just around 6min by walk you can get to the very beautiful lake called Fennsee. People hang out or do sport there. Speaking of green spaces, you are close to the natural park Grunewald and Lake Wannsee. From Wilmersdorf, one of the fastest way to get there by bike / train. Potsdam is around 30min far from here by car / 50min by train/ 1hr 30min by bike (highly recommended to visit Potsdam by bike if you have the chance).

2.8) There are several fitness studios, cafes and restaurant which are close to your place.

Respect for Common Areas: We expect everyone to clean up after themselves, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen, living room, and bathroom. Keeping these areas tidy is crucial for everyone’s comfort.

Shared Responsibilities: Sharing household chores, such as taking out the trash, cleaning common areas, and ensuring the apartment is well-maintained. A simple cleaning rota or schedule can help keep things fair.

Communication: Open and honest communication is key. If any issues arise, I encourage discussing them promptly and respectfully to find a solution that works for everyone.

Utilities and Bills: Renting includes utilities (or specify if certain utilities are shared), and I expect prompt payment to avoid any issues. I’ll keep track of shared expenses to ensure everything is transparent and fair.

Lifestyle: It's a non-smoking household and appreciate a generally calm and respectful environment.
