Australian seeking housing within the heart of Berlin

Hello everyone - my name is Chloe, I’m 22 years old and I moved to Berlin from Australia in late June 2024! I have accompdation until the end of August so am seeking a new flat from end of August/early September onwards :)

I’d love to share a bit about me. I enjoy travelling, socialising with friends, attending live music gigs, and experiencing everything that life has to offer. In my spare time I’m often exploring new places, if you have any recommendations of the best places to visit in town, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Otherwise when I’m at home I enjoy baking, arts and crafts, and the occasional board game night. I’m a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Communications and I hope to work in this sector in the near-future.

I am a non-smoker and only drink socially. I’m a native English speaker but am currently learning Deutsch, until then, I appreciate your patience whilst I am to be better integrated into the culture. Because of this, I am seeking a housing arrangement where the other housemates are able to also speak English. My maximum budget is approximately 700€ warm and is within close proximity to public transport (ideally within the ring). I also have previous experience with shared living situations as well as arrangements in which I did volunteer work in exchange for accomodation and meals.

Due to my current situation (ie. I do not currently have a German address so am unable to open a German bank account), I am unable to provide all the commonly required documentation but I am hoping that we can come to some other kind of arrangement that you are comfortable with. Otherwise, the property must have Amneldung available in order for me to achieve this.
