The room faces the backyard, which is very quiet, at most you can hear the rustling of the trees and in the morning there is sun in the room. I rent it mostly unfurnished - there will be only an open closet inside and the lamp.
The flat is located in the Soldiner Kiez, near Zechliner and Koloniestr. In a few minutes you can walk to the U Osloer Str or U Pankstr with U8, from there it is 10min to Mitte. The tram (Drontheimer Straße) is 4 minutes away, with M13. Ringbahn is a 15-minute walk away.
There are all the supermarkets like Penny, Netto, Lidl, Eurogida and Kaufland. If you like doing sports, you can run along the Panke Canal to Mitte or Pankow, and therefore it is also a very green area.
I've been living in Berlin for 12 years, working freelance, mostly from home. I have a chill old dog that lives in the apartment half the time and with a friend the rest of the time. I sublet from time to time, and like to live with others for that period, sharing everyday life, cooking together sometimes etc.
