Gern solltest Du Dich in diesen Bedürfnissen wiederfinden!

I'm Jakob, your potential new roommate, and I've been living here for 4 years. I'm an artist, working with video, performing arts and ritual, exploring themes of decoloniality, critical whiteness and somatic knowledge. I work from home a lot, but sometimes also outside, and I'm regularly out and about doing sports or meeting friends.
My life in the shared flat so far has been rather quiet and functional. On the one hand, this is because my flatmates were usually very busy with their studies and work, and I was busy with lots of projects; and on the other hand, because our neighbors are very sensitive to noise and the house is acoustically sensitive upwards and downwards. Unfortunately, it's not really possible to have social gatherings after around 10 pm.
In the best case, you are therefore a person who spends the majority of your (noisy) social life outside the home and perceives your home as a place of retreat. Of course, it's perfectly fine to invite friends or partners over from time to time if we communicate about it and take the structural features of the house and apartment into consideration. Small talk in the kitchen or sitting together and chatting is also encouraged and welcome.
It would also be nice if most of your day-to-day life (studies, job, etc.) takes place outside the home and you don't work from home every day or follow online courses from home.
Smoking is not allowed in the whole house, not even at the window. In addition and in regards to substance consumption, I value a sober lifestyle/behaviour in the home whenever possible.
As I have coeliac disease, which means that I have to strictly avoid gluten in my food for health reasons, it is important for me that you also take this into consideration when using gluten-containing food in the kitchen, such as baking, bread or pasta, and that you pay special attention to the separate utensils / dishes / cleaning. So far, this has always been possible without major problems.
Good communication and solidarity are extremely important in this shared flat. You should be happy to find yourself in these needs! If things bother me, I look for ways to address them directly and find a common solution. If there is a mental health crisis going on and cleaning/talking/etc. might just not be possible, write a message. If one is sick and needs something from the pharmacy, likewise.
From Safety and Community feeling, I'm mostly looking for FLINTA people and preferably the flat share remains a queer flat share. 🏳️🌈 🌈 🏳️⚧️
