The sublet is primarily for 3 months (February, March and April 2025) but could be extended in case of compatibility
The price includes:
- cleaning of common areas (bathroom, kitchen, hallway, and trash)
- all house costs (incl. electricity, internet, cleaning supplies)
- usage of furniture, appliances, dishes
We are ideally lookign for:
- a male, as we are already 2 guys here
- no home office (your work has to be outside the flat)
- no smoking in the room or flat
- you speak fluent English
- you don't prepare meat dishes at home
- you keep your space clean
Room & flat info:
- big bright room - circa 19 sq meters (22 sq m with wardrobe)
- the bed is 180 x 200 cm and has recently bought (under 1 year old) quality mattresses
- 2. floor, front building, with elevator to 1.5 floor
- renovated altbau with high ceilings
- 3-person flatshare
- 1 toilet / bathroom (with shower and bathtub)
- you can use appliances, cooking pots & dishes (there is no dishwasher)
- the kitchen and all devices are basic, but you could bring your own
- no pets
- no guests staying overnight
- 1000 € security deposit
- all 3 moths of rent are to be paid in advance
The room will be rented like it is in the pictures. The big white wardrobe will stay closed as there will be things inside, and the white drawers (crossed-out with red in the picture) will be removed. There are doors between the rooms but they are isolated and locked/blocked.

- 180 x 200 cm bed with quality mattresses, mattress protection cover and a bed sheet

- table and chair

I am the main tennant, originally from Slovenia and have been living in Berlin since 2010. I’m pretty calm, but I am working on new creative projects from home, therefore I am looking for someone who does not work from home.
My flatmate is from France and works in software development / IT.
We are gay/straight and vegan/vegetarian and we are looking for someone who will not prepare (especially not fry) meat dishes at home. There are many restaurants around where you can get take away or order food.
We are pretty busy, but open to socializing occasionally if we should be compatible for that!
The house is on the corner of Warschauer and Kopernikus Str. It is a busy area, so if you are very noise-sensitive, this might not be the best for you. When the windows are closed, most of the noise is muted though.
We are in the heart of the vibrant lower Friedrichshain area, very close to a lot of good restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, karaoke… where you can feel the pulse of the city. The area is very well connected to other parts of the city, with the S- and U-Bahn train stations just 7-10 minute walk away, and the tram station almost in front of the house. There are also grocery, organic and late night shops as well as pharmacies and bakeries around the house.
