Hello everyone!
This is a sunny, south-facing room with big windows! The room is furnished with a bed, two nightstands, a clothing rack, and a desk. The room faces the main street, but the double windows block out most of the street noise.
The flat has a sunny, big living room with many comfy places to relax. The balcony is attached to the living room and unfortunately looks a bit sad in the winter so I will spare you pictures of the dead plants ahahah. There's also a smaller room that we use as a closet (one of the wardrobes will be yours!) and store anything from the vacuum to tote bags. The kitchen has quite a lot of appliances: air fryer, pressure cooker, sandwich maker, microwave, rice cooker, mixer, etc. And lastly the bathroom has a laundry machine and bathtub + shower.
The flat is located in Prenzlauer Berg/Pankow with connections to lots of public transportation. The nearest station is Schönhauer Allee (U2, S41/42 (Ringbahn), S85, S8, S2) which is around a 10 minute walk. The nearest tram stations are Schönhauser Allee/Bornholmer Str. (M1, M13, 50) & Stahlheimer Str./Wisbyer Str. (M13, 12).
There are several grocery stores nearby, with Lidl just a 2-minute walk across the street. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants and cozy cafés in the area. The closest parks are Humannplatz and Mauerpark, where it's lovely to relax in the spring and summer. This neighborhood is fairly quiet and family-friendly, but there are also places to go out nearby Eberswalder Str.
I'm Cindy and I'll be your only roommate in this flat! I'm 25 years old and work as a Junior Marketing Manager at a tech company. I mostly work from home so I spend quite a lot of time at my desk during the day. I have a white (socially awkward) cat named Mellow, so it's very important to me that you are not allergic! I like to spend my time with my friends and try out new restaurants or cafes. I also really love to cook and bake, so I will always try to feed you ahaha!
With my future roomie, I'd love to spend time watching movies on the projector, cooking dinner, and chatting about our day. Some costs in the WG are split for items like trash bags or Brita filters. One of my biggest "asks" is that you also value clean spaces. I think I am gravitating towards someone who also works a full-time job, but this isn't necessarily a must!
