The room is in a 93m² shared apartment for 2 people. It’s located in an old building on the 4th floor with an elevator. A parking space is also included.
The furnished room is 21m² and has a private terrace of over 4m². It gets afternoon sun and comes with a wardrobe, bookshelf, chest of drawers—but you can change some furniture if you like. (Right now it's used as a study but we're going to remove some things and buy a bed).
The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, plus a washing machine. The kitchen is newly renovated and fully equipped with a dishwasher and plenty of storage space.
The entire apartment has an east-west orientation, with large windows, making it bright and pleasant.
Animal lover!!!! I have a cat, (Ferguson).
LGBTQ+ friendly.
Registration (Anmeldung) is not possible.
Public transport: Bus 181, 282, and 187, plus S-Bahn S25 and S26 (Südende station).
There are supermarkets nearby, as well as a park with a pond, perfect for relaxing, exercising, and more.
In 10 minutes by bus, you reach the main boulevard of Steglitz, and Brandenburg Tor and Potsdamer Platz are 20 minutes away.
The apartment is fully furnished, and I need a trustworthy roommate. I’m looking for a reliable and quiet roommate. Mutual respect, tolerance, cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere are essential.
In summer, I imagine us enjoying a glass of wine on the west-facing balcony, maybe doing sport or cooking together, or having a nice conversation—that should be the foundation of our co-living. 🧚🏻♀️
I’ll be away some weeks from time to time, so it will almost feel like your own place. But I’m looking for someone who can take light care of my friendly cat when I’m travelling, (It's not much work, and it has its own automatic food dispenser). I understand that it may not always be possible. If you are unable to or if you’re traveling, I would hire someone to go to the house, stay there, and take care of him, however, I do need some responsibility in this matter, bc that’s why the rent is a little lower.
We’ll get to know each other beforehand and agree on an indefinite rental period with moderate notice. For example the contract can be extended monthly or every two months, but the duration is uncertain—it could be 6 months, 1 year, or 1.5 years (this is bc my bf lives abroad).
