This small room is a in a flat with other 2 bigger rooms and a cozy kitchen and is meant as a friendly solution until you find a bigger place, or maybe you come to Berlin just for few months. Dates are flexible from 10.12.2024
This house is full of chemistry PhDs :)
Akshi (31) is a native from India, she lived and studied many years in Göttingen in a WG, works during the day as a researcher in Potsdam, cooks Indian and other cuisines when she's free, DJ'ing in free time - Akshi is easy going and fun to be around.
Another flatmate, Sadaf (34) is another PhD in chemistry and is a native from Iran - she lived many years in Münster in a WG, was about to found a start-up in Berlin, but now she looks for a less adventurous job. Sadaf will be around only in January, as she will be moving out. So, this WG will be searching for a new flatmate from February. Maybe it will be you? (for a room if 17 m2).
Sadaf is more introvert and less interactive. Akshi however is open for a chat and cooking or going out together. You, as a third temporary person, might bring fresh wind and lightness into the Berlin winter!
The tiny room is usually my base in Berlin ('Ich habe einen Koffer in Berlin'), but I will be in Italy for quite some time. As for myself - I'm an adventurer most of the time (49f) and am the owner of the flat. So the room is free, however there is some of my stuff here, like decorations, musical instruments.
Please get back to me if you consider yourself a mature, curious, respectful person who can also do simple things, like switching off the light, locking the apartment door, closing windows, cleaning after yourself. Additionaly we are looking for a cheerful and friendly person, who is not so much on the 'entitled' side. If you have questions, please drop me a line with some references to your person.
I am a long time traveler (46), the owner of the flat and am living half of the time in Italy. Thus I rent my small room from time to time to cover costs of the flat. Armin (40) lives in the bigger room - he studied philosophy, stayed in Mexico for some time and now teaches foreigners German language. Armin is always busy, but he can always be tempted for a beer. The other room is in transition now, so I cannot tell you yet, who will be living there.
