Room for women, FLINTA or queer people only!
The room is 25m2, very bright and facing the main street. The apartment has another bedroom, in which I am, and a big kitchen, which is used as a living room. The next Ubahn stop (U Boddinstr) is right in front of the door. Netto, Eurogida and Rewe are just across the street.
Disclaimer: the bedroom is not quiet. It is at a main street and there are ambulances and police cars passing by frequently. And there are young party people living below who sometimes listen to loud music. I am used to it and don't mind it but if you are sensitive to noise then this might not be your place.
Tempelhofer feld and Hasenheide are just a short walk away and Schillerkiez, where the apartment is situated, offers a wide selection of cafés, restaurants and bars.
I am looking for someone to stay here longer term. I would always start with a trial period of 1-3 months to check if it fits for both of us. After that trial period, 'Anmeldung' is possible.
I am working as a coach and am at the office several days a week. However, I'm transitioning jobs right now and might be more at home doing homeoffice in the future - let's see. Other than that, I like to relax at home (often while watching trash tv - please don't judge me!) or see friends for dinner/drinks. Once in a while I like to go out dancing and I love exploring the Kiez for cafes, bars and restaurants. I also love to be creative and DIY pretty much anything ;) Lately I've been pretty lazy but usually I like to do yoga and dance to stay active and am always open to try new stuff in workshops or with Urban Sports Club. Also, just fyi - I'm German.
With a flatmate I would like to be able to chat and hang out, cook together or check out what the kiez has to offer. I am looking for community and don't want this to be a place where we live together but don't interact with each other. But I also value some alone time in my room and give that same space to someone else. All in all, I am looking for a nice and respectful living situation :)
Since my current flatmate needs to leave pretty short notice by the end of this month, I will try to arrange 1 or 2 days, probably on a weekend, to meet a few people, chat, get to know each other and see if we vibe. I'll try to answer as quick as possible!
