My name is James, 35, from London and in Berlin since 2017 and working in product design. I am currently looking for someone to live with until early next year (flexible).
The apartment is lovely, high up, high ceilinged and in a fantastic location. The room I have not measured, I would say 16 sqm, excluding the balcony, which you would have for yourself.
The whole apartment is very bright and the balcony gets the sun in the mornings. The area, if you’re not super familiar with Berlin, is really fun. A cozy, vibrant neighbourhood.
The apartment is 4 minutes walk from Tempelhofer feld and also 4 minutes walk from U8 Boddinstrasse (+7 mins to Kreuzberg Kottbusser Tor, +16 mins to Alexanderplatz). The immediate area is full of coffee shops, bars and restaurants and there is a Saturday market pretty much on the doorstep. The flat is also good from a noise perspective, despite the busy location.
I am looking to fill the room as soon as possible, but please know that it needs to be approved by my landlord before you can move in and I can register you- this should take approx 1x week from when we start the process. I am ideally looking for someone to stay until the end of the year, but I can be somewhat flexible. Online viewing is possible if you're not in Berlin.
I’m looking for someone who is easy to get along with and friendly- ideally someone who is looking for more or less the same. A bit about me: I'm interested in politics, songwriting, photography, design, football. I enjoy playing table tennis and basketball and meeting up with friends in the evenings.
I’m quite social and outgoing but at home, when living with other people, I like it to be a quiet and respectful environment of course. In terms of my routine, I’m busy working on my portfolio and applying for jobs between the here and coffee shops. If you’re interested I would love to hear a bit about you, what are you doing in Berlin, how long you're looking to stay, social media link etc (I’m @diane_airbrush).
