Hey everyone! I’m moving abroad in April, so we’re looking for someone to take over my 20m² room in our lovely WG in Frankfurt Bockenheim.
🏡 About the Apartment & Location
The room is unfurnished (some furniture can be taken over by agreement), only the ceiling lamp and the blinds are staying in. The room is on the south side of the apartment, getting plenty of natural light.
We are in a great location:
• Frankfurt West station (S-Bahn & Regionalbahn) – 8 min walk
• Leipziger Straße (U6 & U7) – 5 min walk
• Bockenheimer Warte (U4) – nearby as well
Leipziger Straße is a lively area with plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, and a weekly market, making it super convenient and enjoyable to live in.
👩🎓 About Your Future Roommates
You'll be living with Rue (24), Melda (24), and Miriam (28). We've been sharing this WG for almost 2 years, and while we all have busy schedules, we love having a friendly and respectful atmosphere.
Rue is finishing her Master’s at Goethe University (Marketing Analytics) and works remotely as a Digital Analyst. She enjoys home workouts, badminton, frisbee, coffee shop hopping, crocheting, and spending time outside in warm weather. She’s from Tajikistan and moved to Germany in 2022.
Melda is a social educator and she is also currently doing her Master in Psychosocial counseling and law. She also babysits and is the cook of the WG, enjoys plants, going to the gym, and discovering new restaurants & cafés.
Miriam works in HR Management, sometimes she works from home like one/twice a week. She loves to travel, so if you need any tips for a trip she is the person to go to. She enjoys spend time with friends and is into Reformer Pilates.
🏠 WG Life
We have a clean and respectful living environment and follow a weekly cleaning plan that has worked well for us for years (so we want to keep it!). We sometimes do things together like movie nights or waffle nights, but we also respect everyone’s private space and schedules. Chats in the kitchen happen naturally.
You will be sharing a bathroom with one other person, and you will also share the small but long balcony with Rue.
We handle shared expenses through Tricount, so things we buy for the WG are split equally among us. Additionally, you will take over my internet contract, as each of us manages a separate one.

Besides the Kaltmiete, we pay for:

📺 Broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag)
The deposit is held in a rental deposit account, which is currently under my name. We have a washing maschine and a dish washer in the apartment plus we have a storage room in the basement. Down in the basement there is also a separate room to store / lock your bike.
✅ What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has a stable income – The landlord does not accept parental / rental guarantees. You must be able to provide the last three payrolls or an employment contract.
✔ Is clean and follows the cleaning plan
✔ Respects quiet hours at night
✔ Is looking for a long-term stay (not just a few months)
🚭 No smoking in the apartment or on the balcony
There are two other WGs in the building, and if you want, you can join the WhatsApp group and do activities with them as well!
