Hey there! We are looking for a new flatmate in our apartment, in Sachsenhausen. It is 3 minutes walking from Südbanhof, 5 minutes away from Schweizer Platz and opposite to HIT.
Warm Rent: 475 EUR. Deposit: 795 EUR.
The flat has 5 rooms at all:
1 bathroom with a bathtub, wash machine and clothes horse
1 kitchen with two fridges, microwave, a table, shared shelf etc.
3 private rooms
The room is a cozy 10 sq. meters and immediately available to move now or on the 1st of January 2025 . The room is furnished with 2 wardrobes, a mattress, a table and a chair if you like. You can of course bring any furniture you would like and replace it for what is currently in the room.
The room has high ceilings (typical character of old building) and a huge window with a blind and a view to a little front garden. The apartment receives plenty of sunlight in the day. Meanwhile the walls are painted white.
The apartment is very centrally located, with
walking distances available: city center (25 minutes), Schweizer Platz (5 minutes), Frankfurt Main River (15 minutes), and the City forrest (10 minutes).
Public transport is readily available: tram, bus (Line 61 (direct to Frankfurt Airport)), U- and S-Bahn (Frankfurt Sud Station / Sudbahnhof).
Shops, restaurants and amenities are available almost by your doorstep (HIT, Lidl, Aldi, Al Natura, OBI). There is also a wine shop in our backyard and we have friendly neighbours. Enjoy the vibrance of Sachsenhausen and livelihood of Frankfurt with us!
Your potential flatmates are Adria from Spain and Ciaran from the US. Both are employed in Frankfurt with Ciaran being a Uni. student as well. Our big interests are traveling, surfing/snowboarding, different cultures and meeting new people. We enjoy listening to all kinds of music, having some conversations in the kitchen, and enjoy good weather with a drink outside every now and again.
We appreciate a harmonic living and respectful people around us. So we are friendly, easy-going and take care of each other's private spaces. We keep the kitchen, bathroom and common spaces clean and tidy with little stress. No employment of strict calendars, just an understanding to help one another to keep a nice home. :)
The monthly bills for water, electricity and gas are around EUR 75 per person, which makes the rent for this room EUR 475 total per month. Nonetheless, please bear in min that utility costs may slightly increase/decrease at the end of the year depending on the consumption we do in the apartment.
