Hello everyone,
My name is Kiran, I’m 27 years old and originally from India. I’m currently working as an engineer and living near Cologne in the shared apartment (WG) mentioned in this advertisement. It’s been a truly wonderful experience living here, and this WG has provided me with a welcoming and enjoyable stay in Germany.
As I’ll be traveling back to India during Christmas to spend time with my family and friends, I’m offering my fully furnished room for sublet during this period.
The room is on the top floor and is both spacious and well-lit, offering a delightful view of the garden along with plenty of fresh air. The house itself is spacious and charming, with a particularly large and inviting living room that’s perfect for hanging out with friends, hosting gatherings, or simply relaxing.
The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances such as a dishwasher, oven, and microwave, and there’s ample storage space for groceries and utensils.
The location of the house is incredibly convenient:
7 minutes’ walk to the train station (Bahnhof)
4 minutes’ walk to the nearest bus stop
Close to supermarkets like Edeka and Aldi
This room is available for a limited duration, but there’s a possibility to extend the stay if everything aligns well, as fostering a good community environment is important here.

Die WG ist am Stadtrand von Köln, nur 15 S-Bahn-Minuten vom Hbf entfernt. Für sportliche gibt es einen super schönen Fahrradweg (ca. 12 km zum Hbf), der teilweise durch den Grüngürtel bis nach Köln führt.
Wald & Feld sind innerhalb von max. 15 Minuten zu Fuß & 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Eine familiäre, ruhige, sichere Umgebung, mit allem, was man so braucht (Supermarkt, S-Bahn-Anbindung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, kleines Kino) in der Umgebung.
Verbindung nach Aachen: ca. 40 Minuten mit ÖVM.
Unser WG-Leben lässt sich als sehr familiär beschreiben. Wir versuchen uns gegenseitig so gut es geht zu unterstützen, eine schöne Zeit miteinander zu verbringen und die eigenen sowie die Bedürfnisse der anderen zu achten. Wir haben breit gefächerte Interessen, über die wir uns gerne austauschen und gemeinsam ausleben. Von Kochen über Musik, Sport, Umweltschutz, Wandern und den Austausch über gesellschaftlich/politische Themen ist alles dabei. Wir verbringen jedoch auch viel Zeit in Ruhe und geben uns gegenseitig Raum. Grundsätzlich sind wir eine homogene Gruppe, die Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit, Soziales und Globales wertschätzt. Wir haben keine konkreten Voraussetzungen und vertreten das Motto 'Come as u are', jedoch stärken gleiche Wertevorstellung natürlich unser Zusammenleben. Wenn du auf der Suche nach einem Ort für tiefe Freundschaften und ehrlichen Austausch bist, und dir gut vorstellen kannst in einer Gemeinschaft zu leben, dann könnte das deine WG sein. Wenn du jedoch eher nur nach einem Zimmer schaust und mit deinen Mitbewohner*innen nur Küche und Bad teilen möchtest, haben wahrscheinliche beide Seiten wenig davon.
Hinweis: Dieses Angebot gilt nur für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Eine weitere Verlängerung des Vertrages ist möglich.
