(english below) Direkt um die Ecke ist ein Rewe (5 Minuten zu Fuß) und viele weitere Läden befinden sich in der Nähe. Der Teil der Wiehre, in dem wir wohnen, ist ein schönes, ruhiges Fleckchen, 3 Minuten von unserem Fluss der Dreisam und 10 Minuten vom Wald entfernt und trotzdem sind es bloß 15 Gehminuten zur Stadtmitte und 20 zum Hauptbahnhof. Außerdem kommt man mit Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut überall sonst hin. Unser Gebäude ist ca. 5 Minuten von den nächsten Tramstationen gelegen.

Right around the corner you can find a Rewe (5 minutes walking) and loads of other stores are nearby. The part of Wiehre that we live in is beautiful and quiet, 3 minutes from the river Dreisam and 10 from the forest and yet it's only 15 minutes walking distance into the city centre and 20 to the main station. Public transport should be able to take you where you need to go and we're approximately 5 minutes from the closest tram stops.

(english below) Meine Mitbewohnerinnen sind Junghee (aus Korea, sie) und Anji (weiß-deutsch, sie) und wir haben einen freundlichen, offenen, rücksichtsvollen und direkten Umgang miteinander. Junghee studiert Psychologie, Anji ist Tanzlehrerin und Mediatorin/Moderatorin und ich (Afrodeutsch, Schwarz, er/sie) wechsele von Grundschullehramtsstudium auf Erzieherausbildung in diesem Jahr. Durch unsere sehr unterschiedlichen Alltage leben wir ziemlich aneinander vorbei, aber wenn wir uns mal zufällig in der Küche oder im Flur treffen, kommen auch nette Gespräche zustande und wir sind jederzeit füreinander da, wenn eine*r von uns Hilfe oder Unterstützung braucht. Im gemeinsamen Zusammenleben ist es uns wichtig, dass jede*r sich aktiv am Sauberhalten der Wohnung beteiligt. Wenn du nicht aus der Gegend bist, kann ich dich gerne mit anderen BIPoC* verbinden. My roommates are Junghee (she/her, from Korea) and Anji (she/her, white german) and we share a friendly, open, considerate and direct way of communication. Junghee goes to uni for psychology, Anji dances and mediates/moderates for a living and I (he/she, Afrogerman, Black) am in the middle of changing from studying elementary education to an apprenticeship in early childhood education. Because our daily lives differ so much from one another we barely get to hang out but whenever we randomly meet in the kitchen or the hallway we'll have a nice talk and if one of us needs help, the others are there without a blink. (english below) Für den ersten Monat ist eine Anzahlung vorgesehen, die die Miete von zwei Monaten enthält und dann mit der Miete des abschließenden Monats verrechnet wird. Wir sind eine ruhige Wohngemeinschaft und legen Wert auf Rücksicht was Lautstärke angeht.
