Student looking for shared room/apartment in Freising

Hello, my name is Aye. I am looking for a new flat near the TUM campus in Freising. I plan to move in at the beginning of February 2025.

I am a Myanmar-born Chinese, so I grew up speaking Burmese and Chinese. I am currently learning German as best as I can (it is a work in progress😄). I have a background in Ecology, and I moved to Germany 3 years ago for my master's studies at TUM in the Sustainable Resource Management program. I will be starting my PhD study in March 2025, focusing on pollinator networks and social psychology.

I am an introvert, so parties and big crowds are not my thing. I would love to share a living space with people where we can unwind together, share meals, or play board games. Since I came to Germany, I have lived in the same shared flat with other students (we even moved to a new place together). It had been a wonderful experience, and I value the sense of community we developed. I hope to join a new flat where I can build a similar rapport. But I am also open to renting a 1-room apartment with a comfortable living environment.

I am clean, responsible, and respectful of others' space and time. In my free time, I like to read, cook/eat, and play computer games. My favorite books are Frankenstein, Flowers for Algernon, and 1984. While I am not a sporty person, I do enjoy doing yoga occasionally and taking long walks.
