Hello!
I have a room in my apartment in Garching available from December 1st.
The apartment has a total of 70 square meters with a large kitchen (oven available, washing machine in the basement), living room and two bedrooms of 12 and 15 square meters each :) (I am living in the smaller one so the bigger one is up for grabs:D)There is also a small balcony. The apartment is very bright and is located in a quiet residential area. There is also space in the basement, where you can find your own washing machine. The Garching subway station is about 8 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by bike 🚴.
The room is a part of a large 2BHK flat (70m2) and has a common bathroom. Situated on the ground floor the apartment is very well lit and the room has all the badic furnishings for readily moving in and living comfortably.
Everything is included in the rent. Utilities such as telephone/internet, GEZ, etc. Depending on how energy prices develop, there may be a small adjustment.
The location is a very well accessible area — super close to supermarkets (Rewe, Lidl), public transport on U6 line which takes 25 minutes to Munich centre, as well as 20 minutes walking to the Isar and the beautiful running pathways. The locality is beautiful and wuant, away from the bustle and business if the city while being perfectly accessible to all places around.
The flatshare allows for two people. I’m one of the tenants who currently inhabits the smaller room.
I’m a student at LMU pursuing my PhD, and working st the Garching campus. The flat is large and allows for great gatherings and activities.
I am looking for someone who is probably looking for a place to stay for a shorter period of time and already has experience of shared apartments and is also about my age (24-29). I know there are a lot of very young students who need a room, but I'm already past that phase of life :)
Spending free time together would be nice, but it's not a must. I'm 28 years old and am studying physics. I like cozy evenings, but I also like to go out and travel. I value people with an open worldview, an optimistic attitude to life and a sense of humor. Shared tasks in a shared apartment are a given for me. My last flatmate just moved out recently after finishing her thesis and that’s why I’m just looking to use the big apartment to create a fun space with a new flatmate. I'm looking forward to living together harmoniously, where everyone should have their own place to retreat to.
I’m a vegtarian but everything is fine with me as long as the apartment is kept tidy and organised well, which makes it easier for everyone around, and is based on mutual respect:)
Feel free to get in touch if you want to know more.
We can discuss the details over a call or arrange a flat tour at a convenient time (over weekends preferably).
