The room is located on the first floor of a house with four other bedrooms. There is also a studio apartment in the attic, with whom we do not share living spaces. The room itself contains a single bed, a cabinet, a few small dressers, a desk, and three chairs. In the rest of the house, there are two bathrooms, a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, and a basement with extra storage and a washing machine. There is also a garden in the back of the house with a pizza oven and an apple tree.
The room is located in Garching, approximately 5-10 minutes by bike from the Garching subway station, and 15 minutes by bike from Garching-Forschungszentrum, making it ideal for students at TUM. There is a grocery store beside the Garching subway station, which is 30 minutes from the city centre. The neighborhood is generally quiet, and very green.
We are an open-minded, LGBT-friendly, international group, with members from Germany, Spain and Turkey. The main language spoken is English. Half of us are still students, the other half are now working full-time. We often play board games, watch movies, and garden together. As a WG, we are quite active, and would be happy to meet someone who is also interested in participating in the WG life!
If you would like to see the WG, we can arrange a meeting in person or an online walkthrough. The move-in dates are flexible, and the move-out date might be able to be extended.
