The room has 15 square meters plus a balcony, It has a large window and parquet floor, and it is furnished (bed, sofa, desk and wardrobe). It is located in the first floor of a five-room, two-story house, facing the garden. Room orientation is South (warmest, sunniest). The balcony can be accessed from the room and is shared with another room which also has access.
There is a separate studio above with two more (very friendly) people in the attic but we do not share living spaces. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and two fridges. There are two toilets and a bathroom (with a shower and bathtub). Additionally, we have a garden (with a vegetable patch, in case you like gardening) as well as a basement with some room for storage and a laundry room.
Note that the rent is 650€ warm (+ 8€ for the shared wifi)
The house is located in a quiet side of Garching. The nearest bus stop is 5 min away, and the U-Bahn (Garching) is 15 min away. If you like cycling, you can easily get to the TUM Garching campus that way in 15 min. Shopping facilities are 15-20 min away on foot (and there is a bus for that too).
Welcome to our cosy and inclusive international home! We are an international, LGBT-friendly WG of students and young professionals (hailing from Turkey, Canada and Germany) who like having a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoy participating in group activities (board games, watching movies, cooking together, bouldering, outdoors stuff...even going on vacation together sometimes!) but also understand the importance of personal space and downtime. Our communication is in English. If you are open-minded and seeking a friendly and vibrant living environment rather than just a functional flat-share, we would love to welcome you into our home!
Moving in is possible from the start of April. Registration (KVR) is of course possible! Ideally you'd be planning to stay for an extended time (provided that we all mesh well).
