Die Wohnung ist in Südgrone etwas zurückgelegt von der Kasseler Landstraße. Das hat den Vorteil, dass man schnell an diversen Bushaltestellen ist (2-6 min Laufweg) und es trotzdem ruhig ist. Zum Kaufpark, bei dem es von Obi über Kaufland bis zu Intersport alles gibt, sind es nur 1,2 km. Ansonsten gibt es um die Ecke noch einen Rewe oder auf dem Weg zur Innenstadt an der Kasseler Landstraße ist ein Edeka mit DM, Alnatura und Apotheke, an dem ich täglich vorbeikomme.
Die Anbindung ist recht gut: In die Innenstadt sind es 15-20 min mit dem Bus oder 10-15 min mit dem Fahrrad. Innerhalb von maximal 45 min ist man eigentlich überall in Göttingen. Busse fahren unter der Woche im 10 min Takt (tagsüber) bis 0:00, am Wochenende die ganze Nacht durch, aber seltener.

The apartment is in Südgrone, some distance away from Kasseler Landstrasse. This has the advantage that you can quickly get to various bus stops (2-6 minutes walk) and it is still quiet. It is only 1.2 km to the Kaufpark, which has everything from Obi to Kaufland to Intersport. Otherwise there is a Rewe around the corner or on the way to the city center on Kasseler Landstrasse there is an Edeka with DM, Alnatura and a pharmacy, which I pass every day.
The connection is quite good: it's 15-20 minutes to the city center by bus or 10-15 minutes by bike. You can actually reach anywhere in Göttingen within a maximum of 45 minutes. Buses run every 10 minutes during the week (during the day) until midnight, and all night on weekends, but less frequently.

Wie schon im Titel geschrieben handelt es sich um eine Zweck-WG. Das heißt wir haben eine Split-Gruppe, in welche man Zeug reinhaut, dass jeder benutzt, wie z.B. Klopapier, Spüli etc. Ansonsten macht jeder sein Ding. Man sieht sich zwar ab und zu, aber viel geredet haben wir nicht. Sie sind aber alle vernünftige Personen, mit denen man ruhig darüber reden kann, wenn etwas stört.
Zusammenleben wirst du mit:

Yonita aus Indien macht ihren Master in Applied Data Science, kann gut Englisch und Deutsch

Yuxiang aus Shanghai studiert Informatik, spricht Deutsch und Englisch gebrochen

Mirella aus Syrien studiert Deutsch, spricht aber mit mir meistens Englisch

As already written in the title, this is a purpose-built shared apartment. That means we have a split group into which we put stuff that everyone uses, such as toilet paper, dish soap, etc. Otherwise, everyone does their own thing. We see each other every now and then, but we haven't talked much. But they are all sensible people with whom you can talk calmly if something bothers you. You will live together with: Yonita from India is doing her master's degree in Applied Data Science and speaks English and German well Yuxiang from Shanghai is studying computer science and speaks broken German and English Mirella from Syria is studying German, but mostly speaks English to me

Das angenehme an der Wohnung war wirklich, dass sie frisch renoviert ist, neu ausgestattet ( Oktober 2024) und man sich um kaum etwas kümmern musste. Man hat eine Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Ofen, Töpfe und Pfannen. Wenn etwas gefehlt hat oder ich bei etwas Hilfe brauchte war der Vermieter stets erreichbar und innerhalb einer Woche war es erledigt.
Die 490€ Miete sind Warmmiete. Der Vermieter nimmt 100€ pauschal für Gas, Wasser und Internet. Die einzigen zusätzlichen Kosten, die es gibt, sind die GEZ- Gebühren, aber die werden auf die ganze WG geteilt.

Außerdem hat man einen Fahrradkeller, sodass man sich keine Sorgen um sein Fahrrad machen muss.

The pleasant thing about the apartment was that it was newly renovated, newly equipped (October 2024) and you hardly had to worry about anything. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, pots and pans. If something was missing or I needed help with something, the landlord was always available and it was done within a week.
The €490 rent is all you need to pay. The landlord charges a flat rate of €100 for gas, water and internet to the 390€ cold rent. The only additional costs are the GEZ fees, but these are shared across the entire shared apartment (like 5€ per 3 months).
There is also a bicycle cellar, so you don't have to worry about your bike.
