The room is very comfortable. It's big enough not to feel cramped and there is a huge window that lets plenty of light inside. The room can come either unfurnished, or with furnitures (bed frame + matress + desk + desk lamp + chair + closet + shelf). The room is close to the shared areas but I have never been disturbed by noise.
Das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich. Es ist groß genug, um sich nicht eingeengt zu fühlen, und es gibt ein großes Fenster, das viel Licht hereinlässt. Das Zimmer kann entweder unmöbliert oder mit Möbeln (Bettgestell + Matratze + Schreibtisch + Schreibtischlampe + Stuhl + Kleiderschrank + Regal) übernommen werden. Das Zimmer liegt in der Nähe der Gemeinschaftsräume, aber ich habe mich nie durch Lärm gestört gefühlt.
The flat is perfectly situated for a student. The north campus is accessible by bus in 10-15min, and the bus stop is less than 5min away by foot. From the closest bus stop, 3 different bus lines reach the North campus: 21, 22 and 23. The central campus is less than 5 min away by foot, as the flat is directly on its north east corner.
The city center is 10-15min away by foot, and less than 10min by bike. A Netto is just behind the house, grocery shopping is very quick and easy. Lild, Rewe, Aldi and Edeka are less than 500 meters away. The central station is 750 meters away. UMG hospital is 1.2 kilometers away.
Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen für eine*n Student*in. Der Nordcampus ist mit dem Bus in 10-15min erreichbar, und die Bushaltestelle ist weniger als 5min zu Fuß entfernt. Von der nächstgelegenen Haltestelle fahren 3 verschiedene Buslinien zum Nordcampus: 21, 22 und 23. Der Zentralcampus ist in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, da die Wohnung direkt an seiner Nordostecke liegt.
Das Stadtzentrum ist 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß und weniger als 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad entfernt.
Ein Netto befindet sich direkt hinter dem Haus, der Lebensmitteleinkauf ist sehr schnell und einfach! Lidl, Rewe, Aldi und Edeka sind weniger als 500 Meter entfernt. Zum Hauptbahnhof sind es 750 Meter. Zum UMG-Klinikum sind es 1,2 Kilometer.
The WG has cooking tools, a washing machine, a microwave, and an oven, for the most important equipment. We have one freezer, two fridges, and 2 bathrooms, so each is shared between 2 people. The bikes can be securely stored in front of the house. A garden is shared with the other people living in the building. We are three international master students and one researcher at the University of Göttingen, so we talk in english. The WG is calm and everyone is respectful of each others space. We are organized, friendly and tidy. However, international and German are welcomed!
Die WG hat Kochutensilien, eine Waschmaschine, eine Mikrowelle und einen Backofen, also die wichtigsten Geräte. Wir haben Eimsbüttel Gefrierschrank, zwei Kühlschränke und 2 Bäder, die sich jeweils 2 Personen teilen.. Die Fahrräder können sicher vor dem Haus abgestellt werden. Ein Garten wird mit den anderen Bewohnern des Hauses geteilt. Wit sind drei internationale Masterstudenten und ein Forscher an der Universität Göttingen, daher unterhalten wir uns auf Englisch. Die WG ist ruhig und jeder respektiert die Privatsphäre des anderen. Wir sind organisiert, freundlich und ordentlich. Aber sowohl internationale als auch Deutsche Leute sind willkommen!
