Hallo! Ich, Thomas, ziehe im Februar weg fürs Auslandssemester und vermiete dafür mein kleines, aber von mir sehr geliebtes Zimmer unter.
Auch wenn ich im Juli zurückkomme, können wir sicherlich auch eine Lösung finden, falls du ein wenig länger in dem Zimmer bleiben müsstest. Die Wohnung liegt uns sehr am Herzen und wir habne viel Arbeit reingesteckt, sie zu renovieren und einzurichten, was immer noch im Gange ist, da wir erst vor wenigen Monaten hierhin umgezogen sind. Das Zimmer ist möbliert, wobei ich einzelne Möbel vorübergehend wo anders unterbringen könnte, falls gewünscht.
Ich habe außerdem ein paar Pflanzen und ich würde mich freuen, wenn du sie während deiner Zeit hier mitversorgen könntest. Der Rest der WG ist auch gut ausgestattet mit einer Spülmaschine, einer Waschmaschine und Internet (damit sind wir vermutlich die einzige WG östlich des Mississippi, schätze ich). Das Haus ist sehr ruhig und wir haben viele nette Nachbarn.

Hello! I, Thomas, am moving away in February for a semester abroad and am renting out my small but very beloved room.
Even though I'm coming back in July, we can certainly find a solution if you have to stay in the room a little longer. The apartment is very dear to us and we've put a lot of work into renovating and furnishing it, which is still in progress as we only moved here a few months ago. The room is furnished, although I could temporarily move some of the furniture elsewhere if you wish.
I also have a few plants and I would be happy if you could help look after them during your time here. The rest of the shared apartment is also well equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine and internet. The house is very quiet and we have lots of nice neighbors.
Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in der südlichen Innenstadt von Halle. In der Nähe von Tram und Bus, dem Rannischen Platz, der Saale somit Wegen für schöne Spaziergänge. Es gibt in der Nähe außerdem einen Rewe (5 Minuten zu Fuß) und einen Lidl (10 Minuten zu Fuß), sowie arabische und asiatische Lebensmittelläden. Am Löwencampus der Uni ist man in 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder in 15 Minuten öffentlich, am Kunstcampus in 20 Minuten und am Designcampus in 15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad.

The apartment is located in a quiet side street in the southern city center of Halle. Close to tram and busstation, Rannischer Platz, the Saale and therefore paths for lovely walks. There is also a Rewe (5 minutes on foot) and a Lidl (10 minutes on foot) nearby, as well as Arabic and Asian grocery stores. The university's Löwencampus is 10 minutes away by bike or 15 minutes by public transport, the art campus is 20 minutes away and the design campus is 15 minutes away by bike.
Die zwei Mitbewohner*innen sind Nik und Anne:
Nik studiert am Kunstcampus, macht gerne Sport (z.B. Billard, Radfahren und Boxen), ist viel unterwegs und schaut gerne mal einen guten Film.
Anne schreibt grade ihre Masterarbeit in ihrem Journalismus-Studiengang und arbeitet währenddessen. Sie interessiert sich für Musik, wird immer besser im Stricken, schaut gerne Filme und trifft sich mit Freund*innen.
Die WG ist sehr freundschaftlich und der Umgang ist sehr offen. Es ist uns wichtig uns miteinander wohl zu fühlen. Da die Wohnung nicht extrem riesig ist, nutzt man den Raum sehr viel gemeinschaftlich, was wir auch alle sehr gerne mögen, aber dessen sollte man sich bewusst sein, wenn man hier einzieht. Wir kochen viel für- und miteinander, kaufen auch oft gemeinsam ein, haben keinen Putzplan, weil wir uns gemeinschaftlich darum kümmern und legen Wert auf einen achtsamen Umgang miteinander. Es gibt einen Balkon, der an Niks Zimmer mit dranhängt, den wir aber gemeinschaftlich nutzen.Treffen auch online möglich!

The two roommates are Nik and Anne:
Nik studies at the art campus, enjoys sports (e.g. billiards, cycling and boxing), is out and about a lot and likes to watch a good film.
Anne is currently writing her master's thesis in her journalism course and is working while she is doing it. She is interested in music, is getting better and better at knitting, likes to watch films and meeting up with friends.
The shared flat is very friendly and the interaction is very open. It is important to us to feel comfortable with each other. Since the apartment is not extremely large, the space is used a lot communally, which we all really like, but you should be aware of that when you move in here. We cook a lot for and with each other, share the groceries, don't have a cleaning schedule because we take care of it together and value being mindful of each other. There is a balcony that is attached to Nik's room, but we use it together. Meetings are also possible online!
