Our flat share is in an old building and has beautiful high ceilings and floorboards!
The kitchen is an "eat-in kitchen" with a large dining table for eating (together), drinking wine, just sitting around, having a coffee or doing university/work things. Plus, there is a balcony in the kitchen :)
The room is approx. 15m2 and faces the back but still has a big window for light to get in. The room is rented unfurnished.
The flat is in a corner building and is located directly on Eppendorfer Weg. So there is everything you need to live e.g., many nice cafés, restaurants, small shops, bakeries and all kinds of supermarkets (Rewe 6 min, nice Penny 7min)!
Hoheluft U-Bahn station is about 12 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by bike.
Not far from our front door is the bus line 181 and in 8min you are at the Hoheluftchausse where the line 5 (via Dammtor towards the main station) runs.
The Isebek Canal is also close by and great for walking or jogging; and it's really not far to Eppendorf, the Schanze, St Pauli or Altona.
Hamburg University is less than 10 minutes away by bike!
Hello :)
Catharine (26) (from England) is studying Innovation & Sustainability, is a working student and is also quite busy with all sorts of other things. Clara (27) is working full time at AirBus in sustainability, in her spare, she is usually out and about with friends or doing sports. We get on very well with each other, talk openly about almost all topics (the day, podcasts, world events, feelings, delicious food) and go shopping for each other when we're ill. For this reason, we don't see ourselves as a purpose-built flat share and would like the next person who moves in with us to also to be interested in this type of flat. Living together should not be a stress factor and it is very important for us to address things directly and find compromises We like things to be clean and tidy, which is why we have a cleaning schedule and would like someone proactive on this part :)
In general we have very different day-to-day routines, so it is important thats we respect eachothers time/needs. Of course, we invite friends over etc, but we probably wouldn't be the right match for you if you're looking for a party flat share.
Of course!!!: We naturally reject racism, sexism and discrimination of any kind.
If you have the feeling that this could be a good fit and you would like to live with us in a friendly, informal and considerate shared flat, then please get in touch with us. The exact move in/move out date will be discussed in the interview/via message.
Clara M. (German) sublets the room to us all, and Clara G. (French) and Catharine (English) live in the flat together. Therefore, please only apply in English and only apply if you are comfortable with speaking english at home as that is our common language.
We look forward to hearing from you :)
Best regards,
Clara, Catharine and Clara
(PS: please don't hold it against us if we don't answer back to all of the messages!)
