Hey there folks,
Since I will be moving out from this lovely place that i called home for the last 1,5 years, there is a room for rent in our cozy Wg. We are looking for a lovely person that wants to share not only the flat but also food, drinks and the occasional evenings at the kitchen table together with us. The flat itself is rather spacious: we have two balconies, there is a separate toilet and a bigger bath room and a small room to store things like the vacuum cleaner and some tools. Your potentially new room is at the beginning of the apartment, the window is faced north west. Like the rest of the flat it is equipped with parquet floor. It is not furnished but there is a guest matress and a chair and table could be organized as well if you come empty handed.
The flat is located in Bergheim West close to the Cafe Leitstelle. The tram is few minutes away and there is a big Scheck-in grocery store across the bridge where you can find anything you need for your daily life. The main station is also not to far (5-10 mins by foot I would guess).
We are Jule, Marieta, Selma and Mr Spock (our cat and caretaker of the flat). Mr Spock likes to be cuddled and enjoys any cozy couch in the flat. He is a nice fellow even though he sometimes cannot handle his claws too well ;-)
Jule is bringing a nice spirit to the flat, occasionally playing her own songs on the guitar, doing Hula-Hoop or enjoying her selfmade Kombucha. She is working as a Barista at Coffee Nerd and is quite picky about bean of choice :D
Selma is enjoying her freedom atm. She used to work for years at Springer Verlag, but since she needed a change in career, she found her passion more for outdoor activities, such as working at a mountain hut, looking after animals or making cheese. She loves to read, drink coffee and is always up for a hang out in the kitchen :-)
Marieta is our Plant-Mama in the apartment. She loves all different kinds of plants and knows therefore allot how to care for them. She also loves to craft and experiment, especially with fermenting foods + an addict for baba ganoush ;) In the mornings you find her regulary working out in the gym.
We like to share stuff! We keep track of the money we spend on groceries (vegetarian foods only) and share all of that (that also includes Mr Spocks tasty cat food!). It would be nice if you are likeminded on that matter. We are a pretty chilled flat where everyone can be themselves. Most of us love to spend time at home, occasionlly we cook toegtehr, go on trips or meet for coffee. We are looking for someone who wants to share more than just a flat with us.
During the day we are quite busy with our jobs but in the evening you are welcome to join us at the kitchen table for a chat, the bouldering gym or yoga mat.
We are not exclusively looking for an older person that already finished her/his studies but it would be nice if you bring along some experience of living in a shared flat :-) Also, please write a lot about you, what you like to do/ what drives you and how you imagine living together could look like. We know it is hard to read all the messages until the end, but it is important for us to have a coherent flat life :)
