Die nächste Straßenbahnstation Kirchheim Rathaus ist innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu erreichen, die nächste Bushaltestelle sogar innerhalb von zwei Minuten. Zehn Minuten brauchst du zum S-Bahnhof Heidelberg Kirchheim/Rohrbach.

Einkaufmöglichkeiten gibt es auch einige in der Nähe: Fünf Minuten brauchst du zu Fuß zum Lidl und ungefähr acht Minuten bis zum nächsten Aldi. Wenn du fünf Minuten mit dem Fahrrad fährst, erreichst du auch den nächsten Rewe.

Außerdem bist du innerhalb der nächsten fünf Minuten in der nächsten Kleingartensiedlung und wenn du weiter spaziert auch bei den Feldern um Kirchheim.

The nearest tram station, Kirchheim Rathaus, is just five minutes away, and the nearest bus stop is just two minutes away. The Heidelberg Kirchheim/Rohrbach S-Bahn station is ten minutes away.

There are several supermarkets nearby: It's a five-minute walk to Lidl and around eight minutes to the nearest Aldi. If you cycle for five minutes, you can also reach the nearest Rewe supermarket.

You can also reach the nearest allotment site within five minutes and, if you walk further, the fields around Kirchheim.

Zur jetzigen WG-Zusammenstellung: Karen arbeitet an der Uni, Mitsch und Daniel promovieren gerade, Derya arbeitet als Tanztherapeutin und im Kindergarten, Cesar in der Engergiebranche, Markus ist Sozialarbeiter, Kristel kellnert und Vlaki (unser WG-Hund) chillt den Großteil des Tages in der WG und erkundet die Felder rund um Kirchheim. Ich, Jules, studiere Jura, Ethnologie und Politikwissenschaft in Heidelberg. Eigentlich wohnen wir normalerweise zu acht, aber Markus und Vlaki wohnen Übergangsweise in der WG. In der WG reden wir vor allem Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch.

Das WG-Leben gestaltet sich sehr bunt und sehr unterschiedlich: Zwar haben wir alle unterschiedliche Tagesrhythmen, jedoch sind wir alle immer offen und versuchen uns regelmäßig Zeit für die WG zu nehmen. Gemeinsam veranstalten wir Kochabende, Bastel-/Mal- und Gartenaktionen, gehen zusammen feiern oder spielen ab und zu Tischkicker in unserem Wohnzimmer.

Alle zwei Wochen besprechen wir in unserem WG-Plenum unsere Anliegen für die WG: Sei es, wer für den nächsten Großeinkauf beim Unverpackt-Laden zwei Straßen weiter verantwortlich ist oder an welcher Lebensmittelkooperative (Appel un' Ei, Solawi) wir als nächstes teilnehmen. Natürlich haben wir auch einen Putzplan, der mal besser und mal schlechter funktioniert, und aus diesem Grund auch immer wieder ein Tagesordnungspunkt beim Plenum ist. Unseren Plenen kombinieren wir oft mit einer gemeinsamen Aufräum- und/oder Kochaktion. Du solltest bereit sein, dich aktiv und in der WG einzubringen, jedoch ist es dir überlassen in welchem Maße.

Was solltest du außerdem noch mitbringen? Du solltest gut mit vielen Menschen auskommen und bereit sein, deine Bedürfnisse und Anliegen zu kommunizieren. Wir sind immer offen für neue Ideen und bereit diese mit dir zusammen umzusetzen.

About the current flat share: Karen works at university, Mitsch and Daniel are doing their PhDs, Derya works as a dance therapist and in a kindergarten, Cesar works in the energy sector, Markus is a social worker, Kristel waits tables and Vlaki (our dog) spends most of the day chilling in the flat share and exploring the fields around Kirchheim. I, Jules, am studying law, ethnology and political science in Heidelberg. There are usually eight of us living together, but Markus and Vlaki are living in the flat share temporarily. We mainly speak German, English and Spanish in the flat share.

Life in the flat share is very colourful and very different: although we all have different daily rhythms, we are all always open and try to make time for the flat share regularly. We organise cooking evenings, arts/crafts and gardening activities together, go out partying or occasionally play table football in our living room.

Every fortnight, we discuss our concerns for the flat share in our flat share plenum: whether it's who's responsible for the next bulk purchase at the unpackaged shop two streets away or which food cooperative (Appel un' Ei, Solawi) we'll be taking part in next. Of course, we also have a cleaning plan, which sometimes works better and sometimes worse, and for this reason is always an item on the agenda at plenary sessions. We often combine our plenums with a joint clean-up and/or cooking activity. You should be willing to get actively involved in the flat share, but it is up to you to what extent.

What else should you bring with you? You should get on well with people and be willing to communicate your needs and concerns. We are always open to new ideas and ready to implement them with you.

Das Einzugsdatum ist noch verhandelbar. Ab Anfang Juli gehe ich für zwei Semester ins Ausland. Genre kannst du direkt einziehen. Wenn du aber erste Anfang oder Ende August einziehen kannst/möchtest, finden wir dafür auch eine Lösung, die sowohl dir als auch der WG gut passt.

Nach meinen beiden Auslandssemestern möchte ich in die WG zurückkehren. Da ich noch kein genaues Rückkehrdatum habe und noch ein Praktikum nach meinen Auslandssemstern machen möchte, kannst du wahrscheinlich auch noch länger in dem Zimmer bleiben, als in der Anzeige angegeben. Auszugsdatum wäre ungefähr zwischen August und Anfang Oktober nächsten Jahres. Da es in der WG auch viel Wechsel gibt, kann es sein, dass du oder auch ich ein anderes Zimmer übernehmen kannst, dadurch könntest du, wenn es dir in der WG gefällt, auch noch länger in der WG wohnen bleiben. In dem Fall müsstest du dir nur eigene Möbel besorgen :)

The move-in date is still negotiable. I'm going abroad for two semesters from the beginning of July. You can move in straight away. However, if you can/want to move in at the beginning or end of August, we can find a solution that suits both you and the flat share.

I would like to return to the shared flat after my two semesters abroad. As I don't have an exact return date yet and would like to do an internship after my semesters abroad, you can probably stay in the room for longer than stated in the advert. The move-out date would be somewhere between August and the beginning of October next year. As there is a lot of changing in the shared flat, you or I may be able to take over another room, so you could stay in the shared flat for longer if you like it. In that case, you would just have to get your own furniture :)
