Our 3 people WG is at the top floor (3rd floor) of an apartment building. There is one shared bathroom, kitchen, common area, winter garden and a balcony. The room is already furnished with a bed, desk and a couch. I can leave additional items such as the closet, cloth hanger and TV for a reasonable price. It is quite spacious and cozy and you will have the beautiful view of Philosophenweg. One thing to consider is that the room faces Untere Str., which is the bar street of Heidelberg, and it can be noisy especially during the weekends. But with the right earplugs, it is not a huge problem.
The apartment is located in one of the best locations in Heidelberg! It is in Untere Str., Altstadt where almost everything is near. You can find good restaurants, bars, cafes around the house. The nearest supermarket (tegut) is 3 min away. The bus stations Universitatplatz and Marstallstr. are 4 min by walking. The rathaus and the famous Holy ghost church is just one street ahead. Uni campus in Neuenheimer Feld is just 12 min by bike or 25 min by bus.
Since one of us is leaving (Onur), we’re in search for a new flatmate. I’ll take over Onur’s room and looking for someone to move into mine. I’m (Merve) 26 year-old research technician at COS working on developmental biology. Derin is 23 year-old infortmatics Master’s student at Heidelberg Uni. We keep a great vibe in our WG, where open communication and a friendly atmosphere are super important to us. We love hanging out together now and then, whether it’s grabbing drinks downstairs or having long chats on the balcony. Having a positive, respectful connection with the people I live with means a lot to me, so I’d love to keep that spirit going! :)
The landlord seeks someone that will stay for long term (~2 years). Working people are preffered but if you are a student with a proof of income (e.g from family), it is also acceptable. Please consider the noise from street and please text if that is totally okay for you.
The additional prices include heating, electricity, internet and a cleaning person.
