Helles Zimmer in Oststadt WG / ab 01.02.2025

Die Lage unserer WG könnte kaum besser sein:
Die Bushaltestelle Moltkestraße ist quasi vor unserer Tür, mit welcher man sowohl zur HAWK (5'), als auch zur Uni (10') oder zum Hbf (5') gelangt.
Auch mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß ist alles gut von unserer WG aus zu erreichen.
Edeka und Lidl sind zu Fuß 5' entfernt und die Haupteinkaufsstraße circa 15' zu Fuß.
Gerade im Sommer ist die Nähe zur Steingrube mit 5' zu Fuß perfekt um mal einen Nachmittag im Park zu verbringen.

The location of our shared apartment couldn't be better:
The Moltkestraße bus stop is practically right outside our door, providing easy access to both the HAWK (5 minutes), the university (10 minutes), and the central train station (5 minutes).
Everything is also easily reachable from our apartment by bike or on foot.
Edeka and Lidl are a 5-minute walk away, and the main shopping street is approximately a 14-minute walk.
Especially in the summer, the way to Steingrube, just a 5-minute walk away, is perfect for spending an afternoon in the park.

Bei uns passieren ein paar Wechsel in nächster Zeit.

Julia und Johannes ziehen aus der WG aus. Wohnen bleiben hier Johanna, Lou, und erstmal Clémence und Hannah.

Johanna (20) studiert Kulturwissenschaften an der Domäne. Sie trifft gerne Freunde für nen Koch- oder Filmabend, reist gerne oder besucht ihre Familie in Brüssel und ist immer für gemeinsame Aktivitäten zu haben.
Lou (22) studiert auch Kulturwissenschaften. Sie ist gerne in der Natur unterwegs, liest und malt viel, macht gerne Yoga und freut sich schon darauf, im Frühling den Balkon wieder neu zu bepflanzen. Sie liebt es zusammen zu kochen oder zu frühstücken und zu quatschen.
Clémence (24) arbeitet aktuell bei Bosch in Hildesheim und macht ihren Master in Computer Science, sie ist leider nurnoch bis wahrscheinlich Ende März bei uns weil sie dann weiter zieht nach Aachen für einen Doktor.
Hannah (22) ist ebenfalls super oft in der Natur zu Finden. Entweder auf Exkursion für ihr Umweltsicherungs-Studium oder zum Wandern im Harz. Sie arbeitet neben dem Studium bei Paxino in Hildesheim und ist viel unterwegs, aber schätzt genau so gemütliche Abende zusammen in der WG.
Johannes (35) wohnt nur noch bis Mitte/ Ende Februar bei uns, sein Zimmer wird also auch bald neu bezogen.

Unser WG leben ist sehr freundlich, warm und cozy. Das möchten wir gerne so beibehalten.
Jede/r hat hier Raum für sich und sein eigenes Leben, aber wir versuchen mindestens einmal die Woche was zusammen zu machen.
Oft ergibt sich spontan zusammen kochen, nen Film schauen oder einfach mit nem Tee in der Küche sitzen, quatschen und die Zeit vergessen.
Außerdem machen wir einmal im Monat ein WG Plenum, bei dem wir oft zusammen kochen und dann besprechen was so ansteht in nächster Zeit, wer wann verreist und so weiter.
Wir haben nen Putzplan an den wir uns halten und legen Wert drauf, dass man z.B. nach dem Kochen zeitnah sein Zeug aufräumt, damit die Wohnung sauber und gemütlich ist.

We have a few changes happening in the near future.

Julia and Johannes are moving out of the flat. Johanna, Lou, Clémence and Hannah will stay here for the time being.

Johanna (20) is studying Cultural Studies at the Domäne. She likes to meet friends for a cooking or film evening, enjoys travelling or visiting her family in Brussels and is always available for joint activities.
Lou (22) is also studying Cultural Studies. She enjoys being out and about in nature, reads and paints a lot, likes doing yoga and is looking forward to replanting the balcony in the spring. She loves cooking together or having breakfast and chatting.
Clémence (24) is currently working at Bosch in Hildesheim and is doing her Master's in Computer Science. Unfortunately, she will probably only be with us until the end of March because she is then moving on to Aachen to do a doctorate.
Hannah (22) can also be found in nature very often. Either on excursions for her environmental protection studies or hiking in the Harz Mountains. She works at Paxino in Hildesheim alongside her studies and is often out and about, but also enjoys cosy evenings together in the shared flat.
Johannes (35) is only living with us until the middle/end of February, so his room will be moved into soon.

Our shared flat is very friendly, warm and cosy. We would like to keep it that way.
Everyone has space for themselves and their own life here, but we try to do something together at least once a week.
We often spontaneously cook together, watch a film or just sit in the kitchen with a cup of tea, chat and forget the time.
We also have a monthly flat-sharing plenum where we often cook together and then discuss what's coming up in the near future, who's travelling when and so on.
We have a cleaning schedule that we stick to and make sure that we tidy up promptly after cooking, for example, so that the flat is clean and cosy.

Die Gesamtmiete für das Zimmer sind ab April 2024 320€.
Diese Kosten sind schon inklusive Strom und Gas berechnet und beinhalten die gemeinschaftlich genutzten Räume wie das Badezimmer, die Toilette, die Küche, das Wohnzimmer und den großen Balkon. Der zweite etwas kleinere Balkon schließt an Lou's Zimmer, aber wir dürfen diesen auch mit nutzen.
Zusätzliche Kosten sind halbjährlich die FAZ und das WLAN.

Unser Vermieter wohnt tatsächlich unter uns, was die Kommunikation bei Problemen oder Rückfragen sehr erleichtert. Er ist sehr freundlich und Kooperativ.

The total rent for the room from April is 320€. (One month earlier, it's about 15€ less due to a rent increase.)
These costs already include electricity and gas and cover the shared spaces such as the bathroom, toilet, kitchen, living room, and the large balcony. The second, slightly smaller balcony is connected to Lou's room, but we're also allowed to use it.
Additional expenses include semi-annual subscriptions to FAZ and the internet.

Our landlord actually lives below us, which makes communication for issues or requests much easier. He is very friendly and cooperative.
