There are two rooms that are available, a 18 m2 and a 12 m2 one. The whole house/Wohnheim shares two street numbers (30 and 32). It is recently renovated, also the rooms themselves. Each rooms has at least 3 power sockets, as well as two tefefon lines. There is no pre-installed router, however installing a internet connection is an easy task, as there is a main Internetroom that can easily handle the connected routers of all 18 max. tenants with minimal signal loss. In each floor there is a pair of 3 rooms, each room sharing a 6m2 kitchen and a 4m2 bathroom. Unfortunately the rooms come without furniture and that happens, so that the house owner has to comply to the German Housing law (If a house is rented with furniture, a owner can charge an absurd amount of rent money- not the case here!).
There is also a common use basement, that houses two washing machines (repairs for the second are underway), two storage rooms and two drying rooms (Trockenraume).
All the rooms have acess to a very sturdy balcony with steel beams, through the common use kitchen. Moreover, for people who want to workout there, hanging rings and equipment is a very feasible task, due to its construction.
In front of the House, as well as the back side (balcony side), there are two gardens, which all of them can be used to grow vegetables/Flowers or even Trees. Moreover behind the house is a recently repaired bicycle garage, which can also be used as a alternative storage area.
The whole house is located in Grunerstrasse 30 and 32 and is 7 minutes on foot from Hochschule Fresenius. in 4 minutes on foot radius one can find two bakeries (Lämschoft and Schäffer), Hit supermarket with very cheap dairy, clothes and household items, as well as a bus stop opposite of it. Moreover, there is a nearby restaurant 1 min on foot (Eulenstein), as well as a new calisthenics park 6 minutes from the rooms. Max Kirmsse Schule is 3 minutes from here as well. Last but not least the trainstation is 800 meters from the house.
It is a mixed WG, but all of us are calm and make sure we work together in order to make living as easy and practical as possible. Our only requirements are that one has to keep the common quiet hours (Ruhezeit) from 22:00 to 6:00 and take part in cleaning the common use areas (kitchen-corridors-bathroom) once per week, eg every weekend. A clean house is 50% of a persons Lordship. Each 9th month a delivery service comes and picks up the used furniture by tenants. Therefore one can get free goodies if the chance to do so is seized.
The area around the house is very quiet, as well as the fact hat the view from Grunerstrasse is Debus Hausverwaltungs Office. Our house manager is regularly present in order to inspect for damages and emerging issues. The estate agent is very energetic and creative when it comes to finding the right place for you. This is also the same person with whom you can later come in contact with, so that the contract details can be discussed. Furthermore, she can also handle sensitive demands about housing with extraordinary efficiency. Extra info and videos about the rooms are provided by me and the estate agent through Whatsapp or mail (There are very few pictures available, as videos are almost fully used for the time being).
