My name is Yodit and I am a 29 years old woman. I am an Eritrean and I am currently living in Ethiopia. I have a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and I got offered a place at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences to pursue my MSc in Molecular Biotechnology. I enjoy cooking and baking. I consider both as hobbies and I am conscious of what I eat. I would very much like a balanced and nutritious diet. I like to make new friends and get to know people. I enjoy communicating and spending time with people. I feel like I have so much to learn from people and it’s my understanding that you can help out each other. I like to hang out with friends in my free time and since I don’t drink alcohol, I love hanging out at cafes or restaurants and occasionally lounges. I also love spending my time with family and reconnecting on the phone with my loved ones. I am a huge admirer of books and movies. Whenever I get the time, I love to read or watch movies and I also like to make a habit of listening to the news. I believe that it’s important to know what’s going on in the world. When it comes to books, I was into fiction before, but these days, I am very much into self help or self made books and I can say that I am learning a lot from these books. I am more into Young Adult, romance and mystery novels. I can watch any genre of movies, but I prefer sci-fi and drama movies. The moment I ever get the opportunity, I enjoy visiting new places and historical sites. I also love learning new languages. I can speak Tigrinya, English, Amharic and a little French and Arabic. I have never been outside of Africa and I am looking forward to exploring Germany, and other European countries.
