Heyho dear people,
I'm Felix and I'm looking for a new tenant for my room in a shared flat in Reudnitz, as I'm moving in with my girlfriend.
First of all the hard facts about the room:
+ Size 18sqm (practically cut and bright)
+ Total rent 290€/month (incl. utilities, electricity, internet and broadcasting fee)
+ Two bathrooms and two kitchens! The flat share consists of two combined apartments, which gives us additional space for a living room and drying room.
+ Move-in flexible from December 15
- The house is a bit outdated, which can be seen, for example, in stains in the carpeting
- Our landlord is always very busy when you want something from him. The janitor is easy to reach, though.
The location of the apartment is really great. It's a 2-minute walk to the tram/bus stop "Breite Straße" and 5 minutes to Penny, Aldi and Kaufland. You can also get to the university/city center just as quickly. There are a few cafes and good bakeries nearby. I particularly appreciate the close proximity to Lene Park. In summer you can have a barbecue there and play table tennis, volleyball or basketball.
Your flatmates would be: Immi (34), Dilara (27) and David (27).
Immi works as a computer scientist and enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for music, science and politics with you. Good communication, helping each other in the house and responsibility for the shared rooms are very important to him. He likes joint activities, but also needs time for himself from time to time. What really drives him up the wall are: AfDlers, capitalism, healthcare economics and Kaufland's sales strategies.
Dilara (27) moved to Germany from Turkey a year ago and is doing a PhD in biochemistry, which keeps her very busy during the week. At the weekend, she regularly takes our shared flat breakfast to another level with Turkish coffee and specialties and provides us with with cute cat pictures;) In her free time, she likes to go for long walks, rummage at flea markets or spend time with friends. Her nightmare is German bureaucracy and cold, wet weather.
David (27) is currently finishing his bachelor's degree in civil engineering at the HTWK and works part-time at the sports center. In his free time, he likes to cook and go bouldering. He also likes to ride his racing bike and watch movies. He thinks that SUV drivers or people in general who hit cyclists on the road are a pain in the ass.
A warm atmosphere and open communication are very important to all the flatmates. Joint activities are welcome, but if you want to be out with your flatmates every night, this is probably not the right flat share for you. In the past, we have often had breakfast or celebrated birthdays at the weekend.
Dilara loves cats but is allergic. Therefore you cannot bring cats with you ;(
If you can imagine moving into the flat share, please send us a message in English with the following information:
- Who are you, what is important to you and why are you interested in the flat share?
- What topic do you get really excited about?
- (When) could you come by for a viewing?
I'll try to answer as much as I can but it might take a while....
Best,
Felix
