I am on a trip until february and I am happy to offer you my room in the meanwhile!
Our flat is very big (165m²) and has 5 people living in it, so we have a lot of space to enjoy.
We have a big living room (22m²), with windows on two sides at the corner of the Hermann-Liebmann-Str. It gets a lot of sunlight for the whole day, and can even get a bit too warm during the summer months. It has a big couch and a long table so we can all have friends over and chill out together. You can feel free to use the living room as hang-out-space or for some home-office when needed, etc.
We also have 2 guest rooms, with one that is also used as a storage space. You will be welcome to invite friends or family over :)
We have a big bathroom and 2 toilets that are separated.
The kitchen is fully furbished with 2 fridges, an oven, a dishwasher, a rice cooker and a myriad of other stuff.
My room (the one subrented) is 12 m².
It is one of the smaller rooms within the flat. Nevertheless, as the living room and the two additional rooms are also available for being used, there is enough space within the flat.
The room is cosy and the calmest room, as it heads to the backyard. In winter another advantage is the good isolation, which keeps it pretty warm.
I would prefer to leave the furniture as shown on the pictures and empty big part of it, so you have space for your things. We can also talk about everything further in detail. The cute dog on one of the pictures is not ours, he was visiting when I i took the pictures:)
The price is 293€, all costs included (heating, internet, electricity and tv). As a caution we take an additional 100 € which would be payed once, at the beginning (you get them back after the subrental if everything is fine with the room).
I am sharing a Solawi-Mitgliedschaft (which means you get fresh regional veggies from a Leipzig, solidarity based farm, every week) with one of my flat mates. It would be perfect if you would take and use my part for the time of the subrental. It's an additional 30 euros per person and month, we can talk about it in any case, it's no must.
With the veggies it would be a total of 323 euros per month.
The flat is 2 min away from the tram and bus stop, and 15 min from the city center via tram or bike.
The neighborhood is vibrant and has bars, shops, bistros and cultural, artsy spaces and activities to offer. The Marriannenpark and the Rabet (parks with lawns and trees, table tennis and other sports facilities) can be reached within 5 mins walking from the flat.
There are 5 people in the WG: Linda (30), Jilani (30), Maxime (30), Aymeric (30) and Sophie (28, the one subletting her room).
The main language when we all communicate together is English.
Depending on the constellation, we also speak French, German or Spanish.
We like inviting friends or family to stay at our place, so there can be some more activity around the flat. You will be welcome to invite people over too. We are always open to meeting new people and making new friends :)
At the same time we also enjoy following our daily routines. In the end there is no pressure for socializing when the social battery might be low or you are having a busy time ;).
For keeping the flat clean we use a rotating cleaning plan, so we all have a different task to do each week.
We are all in our late twenties/early thirties, and we would like to find someone in that age range, so that we have an easy time communicating and understanding each other. It is very important for us that we can have open and serious conversations on any topics, ranging from how our day has been to how to take care of the WG and our flatmates.
All in all we're a pretty funny and lively bunch, and we like to take things easy and chill.
