I'm travelling home to Australia for a few months and I'm looking for someone nice to rent my room and be a part of my wonderful WG for that time.
My room is 20qm, I have a queen-sized bed, a giant television you can use, 2 huge windows that offer a lot of natural light a large sofa plus a desk where you can work. There are enough shelves etc. for your clothes.
The apartment is beautifully located at the edge of Südvorstadt and Schleußig, the river is a 200m walk and the forest is on the other side of the road. The Clara Zetkin park is right next door and if you go a little further you will find the Palmengarten. Plagwitz is a 15 minute bike ride, the city center is a 10 minute bike ride and Connewitz is a 10 minute walk. The Karli is also very close by where you can find a lot of bars and restaurants.
We are normally 9 people but have a lovely extra guest staying with us long term while she finds an apartment, we are a mix of guys and girls and a mix of ages, some of us are students and some are working.
The apartment is huge, we have 335qm, a huge kitchen with a cozy sofa corner, a beautiful balcony with afternoon sun, 2 bathrooms and cellar for the occasional party. My room is down the end of the "west wing" of the apartment so it is nice and quiet even if the kitchen is full of people. I have 2 big windows, one is south facing so you can see the sun setting in the evening.
In this house there are 3 big WG's and sometimes we hang out. The rest of the apartments are businesses, so they are normally empty during the evenings and weekends.
I'm looking for someone who is nice, tidy, working or studying, a non-smoker, not a total party animal nor will host crazy after hours in my room, will take care of my furniture and respect my space, will pay the rent on time and will get along with my lovely housemates. If this sounds like you then please get in touch. I'm looking for someone who can stay the full 3 months so please don't write to me if you can't. I also have a collection of plants that you have to keep alive.
