There will be rooms available in our house starting mid-February / March 2025 (move-in between February 18 and March 1 would be perfect).
Still available - Big room upstairs, 350 Euro warm, circa 20 qm. Bright and spacious, with a big window and wooden floor, without furniture
The rent includes electricity, Internet, heating oil (we order it twice a year) and other additional costs.
There are two more big rooms in the house. There live Sasha (she/they) and Tagvi (they/them), who are besties – that’s us! Tagvi is doing a masters in social sciences and Sasha in literature. We love to cook vegan/vegetarian for everyone and occasionally watch something together. At home, we mostly speak English. Our other languages are Russian, Ukrainian, German, and French.
We have two cats and a big dog, who are not here yet but will arrive soon. They are friendly and love to hang out with humans so it is really important that you don’t mind them being around – but they can keep out of your private rooms. If you also have a pet and want to bring them with you, we can discuss that!
What else is there?
- Garden: The house is surrounded by a piece of forest and a small garden. We are looking forward to warmer weather to be outside more and plan to plant some herbs and veggies in the spring. There is also a place for a campfire.
- Two bathrooms: one with a full bath upstairs and one small shower downstairs that should be renovated.
- The kitchen has everything, even a dishwasher + there is a laundry room with a washing machine downstairs.
- Small guest room in the attic. (We can also discuss subletting it sometimes.) Our many friends, who come over quite often, sleep there. Your friends are also welcome to visit! We love community.
The house is not in the best condition, so we are trying to collectively improve it, renovating and reorganizing rooms and common spaces bit by bit.
We have had issues with mice and high humidity before, so keeping the kitchen clean and ventilating the rooms and common spaces properly is something to keep in mind.
We don’t smoke and are strongly against smoking in the house. But you can smoke outside.
