About the Flat & the Room
The flat is a lovely 80 sqm flat in one of the calmest and central parts of Schwabing, a top floor with plenty of space. The flat has three rooms, one toilet and a big kitchen.
Your room is pretty spacious at 15 sqm with a big window towards the backyard, a private and very calm area of the building complex. It would be very comfortable for one person to live and work from home in it. The room will not be furnished and therefore the renter should furnish it by him/herself. You also have access to a spacious 15 sqm cellar to store your belongings.
The kitchen is the real heart of the home and therefore very organized and clean. It is divided into the dining part and the cooking part, where we have a stove, a big oven, dish washer, washing machine, a big fridge, a robot vacuum cleaner and a nice music system for entertainment and gatherings.
The building where the flat is located has a nice little park in the enclosed backyard, with resident squirrels you may meet every day (if you are nice enough and bring some food!) and plenty of space for your bikes, or to chill with your hammock/beach chair.
About the Area
. Transportation: the Hohenzollernplatz Station is within 2 min by foot (U2; Tram 12, 19, 20, 27 & 28; Bus 53, 59). And the Kurfürstenplatz is 4 min by foot as well.
. Supermarkets: A Basic, Rewe, Edeka, DM, Rossman, Penny and Netto are all a few minutes by foot from home.
. Parks: 3 minutes walking and you are also in the beautiful Luitpold park, 15 minutes walking (5 min by bike) and you are in the Olympiapark or you may walk 20 minutes (bike 7 minutes) to the Englischen Garten.
. Restaurants: The Schwabing area is very well known for its laid back coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and bar restaurants. It is ideal for some nice morning walks as well as evening drinks and dinners.
