We are pleased to offer you two rooms in our lively and friendly self-managed student residence at Massmann Wohnheim e.V.. Important: you need a certificate of enrollment to live here. The room is furnished with bed, wardrobe and desk. It has friendly atmosphere, perfect for furnishing according to your taste and needs. :)
There are no pictures here since every room looks different, and honestly you should want to be here for the community, the room is just the cherry on top.
Wir haben zwei Zimmer frei in unserem lebendigen und freundlichen selbstverwalteten Studierendenwohnheim Massmannplatz e.V.. Wichtig: du brauchst eine Imma, um hier zu wohnen.
Kleines und gemütliches Zimmer von ca. 10-15 qm, möbliert mit Bett, Kleiderschrank und Schreibtisch. Helle (je nach Perspektive) und freundliche Atmosphäre, perfekt zum Einrichten nach deinem Geschmack und Bedarf. :)
Es gibt keine Bilder hier, da jedes Zimmer anders aussieht, und ehrlich gesagt solltest du wegen der Gemeinschaft hier sein, das Zimmer ist nur das Sahnehäubchen.

Centrally located in Munich, with easy access to universities, public transportation, supermarkets, parks, cafes, and museums. Right next to us in Massmannpark, you'll find a basketball court, football pitch, and table tennis tables to get active and enjoy your leisure time.
- 10 minutes walk to TUM
- 5 minutes to the tram (Sandstraße) and U2 (Theresienstraße) - remember, that in a bind running is always faster.
- Lidl, Edeka and DM also within 4 minutes walking distance.
Zentral in München gelegen, mit einfachem Zugang zu Universitäten, öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, Supermärkten, Parks, Cafés und Museen. Direkt neben uns im Massmannpark findest du einen Basketballplatz, Fußballplatz und Tischtennisplatten, um aktiv zu werden und deine Freizeit zu genießen.
- 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur TUM
- 5 Minuten zur Straßenbahn (Sandstraße) und U-Bahn U2 (Theresienstraße) - denk dran, dass Laufen im Notfall immer schneller ist.
- Lidl, Edeka und DM sind auch innerhalb von 4 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
The most important thing first: We are a self-governed dormitory. Whether it’s organizing events, managing communal spaces, or addressing issues, everyone has a voice and plays a role in shaping our community. Everyone pitches in to keep things running smoothly, whether it’s cleaning the communal areas or planning cool projects (like building a pizza oven). It's crucial that we all contribute to the upkeep and strengthening of our community.
How we live together:
You'll be sharing the bathrooms and kitchen with 29 other people (yep, WG-Gesucht doesn’t show enough). It might get loud. It might get dirty. But don’t worry, it's just temporary and manageable. We've got a living room, a favorite balcony (with a hammock), a big garden (with chickens!), and a music room. Since we're right above the dorm bar, it can get a bit noisy in the rooms sometimes. But that shouldn’t bother you too much :-)
Das Wichtigste zuerst: Wir sind ein selbstverwaltetes Wohnheim. Ob es darum geht, Veranstaltungen zu organisieren, gemeinschaftliche Räume zu verwalten oder Anliegen zu adressieren, jede*r hat eine Stimme und spielt eine Rolle bei der Gestaltung unserer Gemeinschaft. Jede*r packt mit an, damit alles rund läuft, ob beim Saubermachen der Gemeinschaftsräume oder bei der Planung von coolen Projekten (z.B. einen Pizzaofen bauen). Es ist wichtig, dass wir alle zum Erhalt und zur Gemeinschaft beitragen.
Wie wir zusammenleben:
Du teilst dir die sanitären Einrichtungen und die Küche mit 29 (ja, WG-Gesucht zeigt nicht mehr) Mitbewohnern. It might get loud. It might get dirty. Aber keine Sorge, das ist nur temporär, denn wer nicht aufräumt, kommt auf die Küchenschweinliste;) Es gibt ein Wohnzimmer, einen Lieblingsbalkon (mit Hängematte), einen großen Garten (inklusive Hühnern!) und einen Musikraum. Da wir über der Wohnheimsbar wohnen, kann es gelegentlich etwas laut in den Zimmern werden. Das sollte dich aber nicht zu sehr stören :-)

At Massmann, we offer affordable housing, which unfortunately is not the norm in Munich, though it really should be. But what truly sets us apart is our vibrant sense of community and our self-governance ethos. Here, residents actively participate in decision-making processes and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our living environment.

Im Massmann bieten wir bezahlbarer Wohnraum, was leider in München keine Normalität ist, wie es eigentlich sein sollte.
Aber was uns wirklich auszeichnet, ist unser lebendiger Gemeinschaftssinn und unsere Selbstverwaltungsethik. Hier nehmen die Bewohner aktiv an Entscheidungsprozessen teil, tragen zur Instandhaltung und Verbesserung unserer Wohnumgebung bei.
