Unfortunately, our lovely roommate is moving country after living together for 2 years. Now we are looking for someone to fill his considerable shoes.
My boyfriend moved in with me a few years ago, so please be aware that this WG is a flatshare with a couple :) That said, he works a ton and often away from home, so it will mostly feel like a 2er WG.
About me (Lys):
I am a 34-year-old American female and I've lived in Munich for 6 years. I am head of CRM for a vacation rental company, where I work from home 3 days a week. I have a lovely wheaten terrier dog who is around 10kg and does *not* shed. In my free time, you can find me walking my dog around the city and on the Isar, hanging out with my many friends who I stole from my ex flatmate, hiking in the alps, drinking in biergartens, riding my bike, cooking far too much food for 1 person, or reading on the balcony.
About Tim (the aforementioned boyfriend):
He is a 34-year-old German man from outside Basel- THE GERMAN SIDE (he would insist on clarifying). He's lived in Munich for about 3 years and before that was in Nürnburg and Switzerland for studies. He works in healthcare consulting and is home for about 2 waking hours a day during the week (when he's not traveling for onsites). In his free time he can be found playing football (the german kind), riding his bike, skiing/hiking the alps, and other sporty things, sharing a beer with friends and strangers alike, building legos, vacuuming, doing home improvement projects, or not be found at all because he's off in his van traveling to one place or another.
About who we're looking for:
This is absolutely not a functional flatshare, we want to find someone we can get along with as a flatmate and a friend. Again, I would highlight that I have a dog, and my new flatmate *must* love dogs. If you don't, no problem, but this flatshare is not for you! You should be employed and earn enough to cover your share of the rent. Ideally, you are in your late 20s to mid-30s and value a clean but warm living space.
The nebenkosten includes utilities and internet (115), and shared furniture + shared living expenses including a cleaning lady (95)
The bedroom furniture can stay (no need to purchase it) or we can sell it
My roommate is leaving July 15, but as we have a guest bedroom, it's possible for someone to move into the smaller room at a reduced rate until he moves out.
At the moment, this is a temporary listing, but if everything is chill, we would be happy to extend. Please write to me with any questions, and I can fill you in on the situation.
