Hello! We are looking for a new roommate for our WG starting November 5th.
The room is very spacious at 18m^2, so lots of options for customization and additional furniture. It's south-facing with large windows, which means lots of natural light throughout the day (although there are blinds and curtains if required) with a nice view outside.
There is also furniture in the room—a bed, wardrobe, desk and a chair—which you can choose to take over for €80.
The apartment is a bit outside the city centre, but is still quite accessible. It's only 10 minutes by bike to the Schloss.
There's a LIDL and two Asian supermarkets in the immediate vicinity (less than 4 minutes' walk away). Two Rewes can also be reached in less than 5 minutes by bike.
The Wienburgpark and the Gasselstiege are a 5-minute walk away, where you can relax and go for a jog. There's an outdoor pool nearby too, which is very convenient during summer.
There's also a gym, a hairdresser and a few fast-food restaurants nearby, and on the other side of the street, there's a cafe called Saras Wohnzimmer, which is a great hangout spot. You can reach the Yorkcenter in under 5 minutes by bike, where you have all the shopping facilities you'll need, including DM and Decathlon.
Lastly, the bus stop Dreizehnerstraße is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment.
Your two roommates will be me (Gautham) and Catharina.
Catharina is studying for a Master's degree in communication sciences and last semester started a second degree in biology and German studies to become a teacher. Catharina always has something to do, partly because of her work at a local newspaper. In her free time, she enjoys jogging and playing the piano.
I started my Master's degree in mathematics here last semester. I like languages, playing piano and watching Formula 1. In my free time I like to read, watch anime and bake from time to time. I also enjoy getting to know new people and am always up for a chat :)
Life in our WG is easygoing and harmonious. We enjoy catching up or spending evenings together in the kitchen when it works for everyone. But there’s no obligation—everyone is free to have their own space and quiet time whenever they need it.
