The house is about 130 squared metres, there are 5 bedrooms (several sizes). Common space: quite big living room with a small balcony, kitchen, bathroom and a small space for tools. The house is located in an ancient Vesuvian Villa (XVII), named Villa Borrelli.
The room is furnished with all the basic requirements (one regualr size bed, a desk, a wardorobe, a bedside table and several decoration objects) but can be modified according to special needs.
The house is 40 mt. far from Piazza della Pace where the Town hall is located, that is the heart of San Giorgio. Connections are good, there are few buses linked with Napoli and other Vesuvian cities, furthermore Vesuviana (railway) is far 10 minutes by walking and it is connected with Napoli (Central Station 11 minutes) and Sorrento on the other side (1h and 30 minutes). Near the house you can find markets, grocery shops, butchers, bars, stationeries, pharmacies. If you walk ten minutes you can easily get two nice green parks (Villa Bruno and Villa Vannucchi) which are the cultural and social centre of the city. Airport is 15 minutes by car or half an hour with local transport (vesuviana + shuttle bus).
Walking to the top of the Vesuvio is around 3 hours with regular rythm and the seaside is 500 mt far from the house.
At the moment we are four nice guys: 2 Italians (m/f), one English (m) and one Romanian. The house is always frequented by different people(youth most) especially artists, musicians and singers, as one of the house mate is a musician himself and works for a trio as well as for a small orchestra. We are couch surf friendly, and, according to our space, we like to host travelers and exchange with them cultures/knowledge.
Life in the house is quiet: most of the time is used for studying, working, reading, etc. but in the week ends we try to set up intercultural evenings with live music or random parties... Once in a while we enjoy poker, table games (dixit most), futsal and swimming....
we expect an open-minded and easy going person, which can understand the discipline regarding house keeping (cleaning, rules, etc.)
