The room includes a wardrobe, a spacious bookshelf, a bed for 1.5 people, a desk with drawers, a bedside table, curtains, and a wall hanger. It has a cosy atmosphere and features a balcony window that opens onto a long balcony shared with two other housemates. The room has wooden parquet flooring and receives sunlight, with a view of the garden.
The location is a 10-minute walk from the Neufahrn S-Bahn station and a 5-minute walk to the bus station, which is just 2 minutes away. From the bus station, you can reach Garching Forschungszentrum (TUM) in about 10 minutes by bus. There is a REWE supermarket within a 10-minute walking distance, or you can get there in about 5 minutes by bus. Additionally, there is a cosy and beautiful café nearby.
This area is small but warm, located outside of Munich, but you can easily access the city via the S-Bahn or by taking a combination of bus and U-Bahn. If you need to go to Penny, dm, or a larger REWE, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes on foot. Both REWE stores have a DHL office inside.
The Rathaus is only 5 minutes away from the house and not crowded, making it easy to schedule an appointment. For a residency permit, you will need to visit the Freising office instead of the Munich office.
We’re a group of master's engineering students at TUM who are passionate about our studies and like spending time together, sometimes chatting in the kitchen and sharing tea, coffee and snacks. Our WG includes Sergio from Mexico, Saad from Pakistan, and Zeynep from Turkey. We are friendly, open-minded, and social, and we’re all supporting the LGBTQ+ community while standing against any form of sexism or racism.
To keep our home nice and tidy, we’ve created a cleaning schedule. Every week, each of us takes a turn cleaning a different room. We share all our kitchen tools, and since we don’t have a dishwasher, we make sure to wash our dishes and keep the sink clean!
Our living room is a space where we can watch TV, play games, study, exercise, and have friends over.
In warm weather, the garden is nice to hang out and do some gardening if you are interested. We have cherry, apple, plum and quince trees.
500€ is the total rent, which includes heating, electricity, internet, etc.
We are renting directly from the landlady.
A long-term stay is preferred, and KVR is possible.
