The room is circa 14 qm . Fully furnished. Two windows. The apartment is a so called Railroad apartment. It is a long rectangle. The room which is available is on the right side and my room is on the left side. It has an open floorplan; kitchen, living area and dining table are in this area. Bathroom has a bathtub. The building is not a quiet building. Children, Music and sometimes partying. Wi-Fi, gas, electricity, and garbage are included in the price of the room. The room is available to rent for three months, with the possibility of extending.
The subway station is called Utica. The A and the C are the lines. Very good lines as they go up all to the Bronx. It is a 10 minute walk to get to the subway station. There is a very frequent bus serving for a ride to the station. In addition, the bus ride to Utica station is five minutes long.
I want to point out that I have two small dogs. They are very well behaved. I am also open to renting for a couple.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
The apartment is located in Bed/Stuy , Brooklyn. Bed/Stuy gets its name from the merging of two 19th century middle-class communities: Bedford and Stuyvesant Heights. At one point it was one of the largest black communities in New York. However, it changed over time. As gentrification made its appearance, Bedford Stuyvesant turned into an increasingly diverse community. The apartment is situated on Malcolm X Boulevard. There are excellent restaurants in the vicinity: Chez Oscar, Trade Room and Saraghina, all in walking distance, about 5 to 10 minutes away. There are two Key Food grocery shops a 5-minute walk from the apartment. There are also multiple coffee shops and quite a few bars.
Hi I am Tanja. I will be living in the second bedroom of the apartment. I am a contemporary art dealer. I am working between New York City and Hudson, NY.
I turned my passion for art into my work. I am originally from Germany. I love New York City. I am a foodie and love cinema. I have two non-shedding small dogs. I love a clean apartment. I am very easygoing as long as the communication is good.
Please feel free to write a message to me over WhatsApp or here on the site. I am out of the city for the moment but will be able to do video calls to show the apartment as soon as I return (ca.2 weeks). Please let me know a little bit about yourself and what brings you to NYC. Look forwarded to meeting!
