Hi all :)
since our current flatmate is moving out, we are looking for a potential flatmate who is able to take over their part in the new contract as *one of the main tenants*.
- proof of income(at least 1000 € monthly for the last three months)
- willingness to be in the contract
are factors that we unfortunately need to prioritise.
We would appreciate if you mention your ability to meet these requirements while reaching us, thank you in advance! :)
Your soon-to-be-available room is quite spacious(largest in the flat) and located on the second floor which is shared with another room, the kitchen, terrace and one of our four bathrooms. It receives direct sunlight until afternoon and is brighter than one might expect :)
Move in date is negotiable and some of the furniture in the room(the shelves, large couch, bed frame etc) can be taken over for little or no fee after a discussion with the current owner.
The deposit also needs to be paid to the current tenant within March.
Our flat lies in the center of offenbach right between the two big stops, Marktplatz ( Sbahn) and Central Station.
Both are in walking distance of maybe 10 minutes.
We also have the river Main around the corner and a much more beautifull Riverside ;)
Other than that a farmers market and other nice.food stuff lies dormant in the region as well as a lake a few minutes away :)
English Version
We are a flatshare of 8 people, so to organise living together we hold plena on regular basis. There is an extra deposit of 150€ that is collected in our bank account for unexpected expenses, this amount can be paid any time after moving in, however it is comfortable :)
Everybody is living their own life at their own pace within our flat. That is also totally finey although we still like to emphasise responsbility for living together with each other. So we try to respect each others needs in living together. As we are a flatshare, where some people are studying or working and we have adjust a bit to their rhythm( so no loud music at night for.example :)).
We have a big terrace which we share and in summer becomes the center of social life of the flatshare. Some people garden, some excercise or read a book out there.
In the winter there are occasionally series or movie evenings.
We enjoy communal activities, although we have to manage to get it done :D
These include going to the lake, the farmers market, or maybe brunching together.
We are excited to see what kinda person you are until then ! :)

Wir sind eine 8-Personen-WG, daher veranstalten wir regelmäßig Plena, um das Zusammenleben zu organisieren. Für unerwartete Ausgaben wird eine zusätzliche Kaution in Höhe von 150 € auf unserem Bankkonto eingezogen. Dieser Betrag kann jederzeit nach dem Einzug gezahlt werden, das ist relativ entspannt:)
In unserer Wohnung lebt jeder sein eigenes Leben in seinem eigenen Tempo. Das ist auch völlig in Ordnung, obwohl wir die Verantwortung für das Zusammenleben dennoch gerne betonen. Deshalb versuchen wir, die Bedürfnisse des anderen im Zusammenleben zu respektieren. Da wir eine Wohngemeinschaft sind, in der einige Leute studieren oder arbeiten, müssen wir uns ein wenig an deren Rhythmus anpassen (also zum Beispiel nachts keine laute Musik :)).
Wir haben eine große Terrasse, die wir gemeinsam nutzen und im Sommer zum Mittelpunkt des gesellschaftlichen Lebens der WG wird. Manche Leute arbeiten im Garten, andere machen Sport oder lesen draußen ein Buch.
Im Winter gibt es gelegentlich Serien- oder Filmabende.
Wir haben jedoch auch Spaß an gemeinschaftlichen Aktivitäten, auch wenn wir es hinbekommen müssen :D
Dazu kann ein Ausflug an den See, auf den Bauernmarkt oder vielleicht auch ein gemeinsames Brunch gehören. Auf jeden Fall immer wieder kleine Gespräche in der Küche.
